Good thoughts there...sadly, much programming is turning out like rap music or impressionistic art. While it may please the artist/programmer - it is lost and useless to many observers.
Is there anything out there written to the GUI that is rock solid?
What the heck is going on with FR today?

Puget Sound Weather Report
Ahh, the signs of spring: The sun is out, the Mariners are playing baseball once again (beating San Diego 6-5 today), flowers are starting to bloom
And then you walk out to grab the morning paper in just a T-shirt and you get a harsh reminder it's still February. So this is your heads-up to have the coat ready for your Friday paper, because we're on tap for another chilly night. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 20s and low 30s. We'll start clear, but clouds will increase overnight
Good Night all....

Free Republic is going to be about as moving as a rowboat stuck in the mud today.
I'm teaching my daughter Vanessa how to program as a part of her bachelor's in computer science at Utah Valley State College, and I don't hold out a lot of hope for the future of computer science in America. Someday in the distant future I'll do a screed on whats wrong with computer science, but today I have work to do.
Love the thread, but it's a bit too slow to do more than lurk today...

Good luck to both you and Vanessa - FR's crawl has allowed me to get some much needed paperwork done...
