Los Angeles — Liv Tyler has added another rock musician to her life.

The daughter of Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler married Royston Langdon, lead singer of the band Spacehog, in a private ceremony at a villa in the Caribbean on March 25, her publicist said.

It's the first marriage for both. A small reception for family and friends is planned for next month.

Tyler, who plays the elf Arwen in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, has also appeared in such films as Armageddon, Inventing the Abbotts and That Thing You Do.

Westy....nifty looking kitty cat....he was in charge of the chsir, and now Westy has it...

Grannie....great pic of the boat...looks like fun...

Loddy....about Liv Tyler...you listed some of the movies she was in, but you forgot all about 'Cookies Fortune', tho I am not surprised...but its an absolutely wonderful movie, a little sleeper, with an all star cast, and a movie, which if you cannot find it on TV, then go rent it...I watch it every time it comes on TV here, which in the last few months, ,has been quite often, on the Bravo Channel...

The stars are, Patricia Neal, who plays Cookie...and there is Charles S Dutton, Glenn Close, Julianne Moore, of course, Liv Tyler, Donald Moffat, Ned Beatty, Lyle Lovett, Courtney B. Vance, and Chris O'Donnell....now, some people may find the movie boring, but I find it a charming movie, a movie with a lot of eccentric characters, and everytime I see it, I will notice something new about the movie...

Should you ever get the chance, see this little movie, and see what you think...

And Liv Tyler, is really a good little actress, and does a fine job in this movie...

Goodness! A bit ostentatious, but it is grand.

I'm looking forward to taking both fresh and salt water tours when in FL - maybe I'll get to see the elusive manatees there.

Cheers.

Good morning all...enjoying my 'vacation' at home, being lazy, shopping, playing with Dizzy, etc....

One of my cousins in Chicago, just sent me some pics of his mom, my mothers sister, on a shopping jaunt...Aunt Wanda, always loved to go shopping at flea markets and yard sales...they were her special favorites...she just had her 87th birthday recently, and is legally blind, altho she can see a little tiny bit, and wears two hearing aids...

But my cousin says, she still loves to shop, and he takes her out every other week, to either flea markets or yard sales...Bless her heart, 87 yrs old, legally blind, almost deaf, but still the 'shopping maven'....

Now, thats the way to enjoy your old age...

Should I live to be that age, I hope I can hopefully be shopping ebay, perhaps using a magnifying glass to read the screen...

Well, need to head out to the store...they have giant prawns, and giant scallops at a fantastic sale price, so need to stock up...

See there, BigDom is gone, but I am still thinking about his tummy....

Below is a letter received by the parent of Corporal Joshua Miles from the 3d Battalion, 2nd Marines. This simple Poem says a lot. Please pass it on.

A Parent of a Marine in the 1st Battalion 4th Marines...... oorah.

We got a letter from Josh today, if you could call it that, written 3/9. They are hearing about the anti-war protests and he was upset. That' s all the letter talked about. He enclosed a poem he and his buddies wrote. He wants us to get it out, let people see how they feel.

"Wish You Were Here"

For all the free people that still protest. You're welcome. We protect you and you are protected by the best.

Your voice is strong and loud, but who will fight for you? No one standing in your crowd.

We are your fathers, brothers, and sons, wearing the boots and carrying guns.

We are the ones that leave all we own, to make sure your future is carved in stone.

We are the ones who fight and die, We might not be able to save the world, Well, at least we try.

We walked the paths to where we are at and we want no choice other than that.

So when you rally your group to complain, take a look in the back of your brain.

In order for that flag you love to fly wars must be fought and young men must die.

We came here to fight for the ones we hold dear. If that's not respected, we would rather stay here.

So please stop yelling, put down your signs, and pray for those behind enemy lines.

When the conflict is over and all is well, be thankful that we chose to go through hell.

Corporal Joshua Miles and all the boys from 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines, Kuwait

Hooah, Marines.
(I was an Army puke, but that doesn't mean I don't respect the Marines.)
However, the Army Air Corps still needs to be ragged on once in awhile.
