Cheers Loddy.. Just cooking some meatloaf..as we are without guests tonight. They went out with friends, and we are having a cocktail and watching the cold front outside.. Darn, it's windy and getting cooler by the moment.. Nice stiff wind from up north coming in.. Brrrrr.. It's only for one day tho I guess..

Grannie....what wonderful, beautiful pics...great for the start of the day...

Well, BigDom is all packed up, and has his money and travelers checks and IDs and plane ticket in his wallet....he keeps going over and over, all his stuff, making sure that he has everything...driving me nuts...I told him to have a beer and calm down, which advice he is taking....

The turkey finished up a few minutes ago, and I am now going out to the kitchen to finish off all the fixins...then we will eat, and he will take his shower, and get himself all doo-dadded up, and ready....the airporter bus called this morning, and said they will be picking him up a little later at 7:10pm, a full 1/2 hour later than previously they told me...guess they have some other pickups...I was hoping that they would come and get him earlier, but of course, no luck, he will be around for an extra 1/2 hour....ah well, soon he will be gone, and I can have some peace and quiet....

But, for all the pain he is when getting ready for a trip, hes all excited and I cannot help but smile, and be glad that he is having some time off...he works so hard to the trusty post office, and I am just glad he will be having some time for himself, and not have to worry about anything, other than being a tourist, and seeing friends and relatives....

And of course, he left me with my nice bankroll, so that I can have fun while he is gone....
