No way.
It was 90°.....water temp was very comfortable.
We anchor off the beach of these beautiful islands. Much nicer than Puget Sound in looks and water temp. But it's more dangerous when the storms come up cause Lake Michigan is bigger than the sound.

The Manitou islands are off of the Leelanau peeninsula, the Western shore of Lake Michigan. If you are looking at a map, they are dead West of Leland, North of Frankfort and South of Charlevoix. They are part of what's called the National Lakeshore, so no one but rangers live there. It is spectaculor.
