Kinda like a small ice fishing tent as a duck blind?
That way one can have drinks and stay out of any cold breezes (comparatively) and have the camera ready?

Well, if you're a jittery high energy type, animals seem to be able to sense you coming.
But, if you can purposefully calm down and get 'furtive' the animals sometimes (not always) tend to not notice you.
Works for me, sometimes too well.
Squirrels, the most jumpy creature on the planet, haven't noticed me until I was a foot away.
Deer have also failed to detect my presence, until I was in teh center of their herd.
