Rumsfeld followed his statement with a demonstration of the proper use of the toilet brush which included waving the brush over the head three times while clicking one's heels and saying in a high quivering voice "there's no place like the homeland. There's no place like the homeland. There's no place like the homeland."

Waiting for the Fuller guy...

QUOTES & TOASTS of the DAY -

"How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?"

"You read about all these terrorists - - most of them came here legally, but they hung around on these expired visas, some for as long as 10-15 years. Now, go compare that to Blockbuster: you're two days late with a video and those people are all over you. Let's put Blockbuster in charge of immigration."

It was a fine day in Sada this February morning so I went for a walk and took some pictures. The place was quiet as all the kids are in school, everyone is working, and the tide was out. Can´t get anymore abandoned than that.

Anyway here are the pics:

Thanks for your fotki links. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy looking at pics that have nothing to do with snow, melting snow or unplowed, impassable roads.
