Kath, I found these pics in Fotki. This is where we used to go snorkling.. Very remote, with crystal clear water. You could feel and hear the fresh water tinkling when it hit the salt, like the finast crystal glass in your ears when you were under water.. Darn I miss that place sometimes.. ;(

Gran, that is so beautiful. I especially like the part about being very remote, and can see why you miss being there. ;-(

That's the place where I almost had the run-in with the big Barracuda..
Al was on the rocks and I was all alone, and he noticed my silver ring I think.. I swam the rest of the way with the ring hidden in my fist..looking down and keeping my eyes, (I had two then,) on him... ;)

Ah, so that's how you lost the leg!
To: Kathleen; acnielsen guy
Nooooooooooo.. I had two legs then.. I lost my leg on a sailing venture with the Capt'n.. He sent me out in a whale boat to get some oil, I think he said, and I got the leg tangled in the Harpoon rope.. I missed the oil, but that Whale got my leg..
Thank goodness for the Capt'n being there.. He hung me by my other leg, and trimmed me right up good.. Right to the hip..with no slip..
He can be right handy in some sichiations, donchano..

Will George W. Bush
fall victim to the
Zero Factor?
The Zero Factor
1840 - William Henry Harrison
1860 - Abraham Lincoln*
1880 - James A. Garfield*
1900 - William McKinley*
1920 - Warren G. Harding
1940 - Franklin D. Roosevelt
1960 - John.F. Kennedy*
1980 - Ronald Reagan
Seven out of the last eight Presidents that were elected in
a year ending with zero starting in 1840 have died in office.
* Four out of the seven were killed by assassins bullets.
Only Ronald Reagan in 1980 survived the Zero Factor,
although he too was the victim of assassins bullets.

Aye little one I remember it well,´twas a damn pity that the rope pulled ye overboard. But mind me, I did tell ye that iffn you didn´t watch yer sel those legs o´yourn would get you into a whole heap o´trouble. Iffn you had kept ´em together, nice and ladylike, there would be no tangled rope and you wouldnt be hopping around like blind Pew in Treasure Island. Aye, we needed the oil, but there are other ways of getting it as you well know.
An hanging you by one leg to fix the problem was sumthing I am used to in this seafaring life. Just like keel hauling lazy varmints, but in this case I needed to procede with a little more delicacy with one of your sex. Sex! Oh yes, sorry about the eye little one it was just bad luck, an inch or two either way would have saved the day.
I don´t like to boast, as you well know wench, but I did me a pretty good job of trimming yer spar so that you could always supplement your income should the need arise. Income, that brings me to the subject of the bitchin
I have been hearing lately ´bout teef and shoos and eyes well lack of them. Listen my little darlin bosom pal of small vermin, those things are not that important for my wench. You got all the parts that a good wench needs, the rest are just bells and whistles.
I know that Kathy wench has been egging you on to spend and spend like a drunken sailor. But, think about it my little rum cask. Whenever did another wench give you advice that was ever worth a damn. Dont trust ´em they are your rivals and not your real friends. She, no doubt, needs her bells and whistles but you got yourself a good Capt´n by the short arms and a guaranteed good billet with rum and all for life.
