Taaa....
Here I sit, classical music playing, overcast clouds on the mountains out my two windows, some lucky people skiing at the tops of them, and my Integrated Circuit Editor open and being worked on.
All I really wanted to know was if we were bombing Iraq yet and moving ground troops across its borders in a big way but it doesn't look like it. We have been bombing in the past 24 hours, small numbers of ground troops are within but nothing big yet.
I think thats the reason for the Tom Ridge Orange thingie.
My family is off at church right now, and life goes on.

LOL LOL... Hi Dog.. are you working today?
To: grannie9
Sort-of, trying to get in the mood to do something....
Monday through Friday I get some of the things done, then Saturday I get the itch to do all the Honey-doo's that have fallen between the cracks,
Then Sunday, way before 6:00 AM I'm up and itching to work, so I motor down to a 24 Hour Belgian waffle house and stoke up on waffles and coffee, then come in to work.
After a few lines of code my mind wanders again...
I've been looking at your artwork and trying to find a web site I have bookmarked at home but not here and I wanted to show you some cute art but I can't find it....
BTW, I looked at that Maui windcam I posted a few days ago, and every so often the fellow takes the cam down so it doesn't point at the ocean (I once caught him when he was testing it out in his kitchen) and it is in one of those states now.

Huh... He must have had it down for cleaning and got it back up.
Anyway, good to talk to you

There are varying opinions as to the origin of Valentine's Day. Some experts state that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries. Legend also says that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer's daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it "From Your Valentine". Other aspects of the story say that Saint Valentine served as a priest at the temple during the reign of Emperor Claudius. Claudius then had Valentine jailed for defying him. In 496 A.D. Pope Gelasius set aside February 14 to honor St. Valentine.
Gradually, February 14 became the date for exchanging love messages and St. Valentine became the patron saint of lovers. The date was marked by sending poems and simple gifts such as flowers. There was often a social gathering or a ball.
In the United States, Miss Esther Howland is given credit for sending the first valentine cards. Commercial valentines were introduced in the 1800's and now the date is very commercialised. The town of Loveland, Colorado, does a large post office business around February 14. The spirit of good continues as valentines are sent out with sentimental verses and children exchange valentine cards at school.

Hello.. I"m glad you didn't get buried again.. What luck.. We were supposed to have rain most of the day, but the sun is out now and then.
Just put a lemon bundt cake in the oven.. Now I can rest a while and hope not to fall asleep. Had an early morning. ;)
