I like Target, too. I was so excited when we FINALLY got one here last year.

They are a much nicer store now than they were originally; better quality merchandise, etc.

We have one of the "Greatland" varieties here; with groceries, etc.

Have you noticed that with increasing frequency we have "freepers" jumping on threads to defend specific (and sometimes unspecific) journalists? I find this phenom very interesting. As FR gains influence, the more it occurs.....

ACR...regarding reporters ...I saw something like that today. Interesting, isn't it? I will be highly suspicious if I see someone defending Dana Milbank. Ha!

MozartLover...My sister who has worked in retail for years knows who several of the Target buyers are, and says that they are some of the best in the business. They are very good at following trends and getting good design fairly cheap.

She's doing......okay. Not great, but not terrible.

School is going fairly well for her; but she still gets down........on herself, on life, on......everything.

Doesn't help that she hates the cold & snow. She always perks up in the spring.:)

I wonder if any of the guys I worked for are still around........they'd be ancient by now, I suppose........OTOH, some of them were very young at the time.

The offices were originally in a small building next door to my high school, and I'd run over after school to do filing, etc. Then I got promoted to mailroom; then after they moved to their current location, the IDS building in downtown Mpls., I was in a secretarial pool. I worked there during the summers while I was in college.

Ah, spring. I love spring too, long about March, I start longing for it.

Spring is my least favorite season. Much as I loathe the heat in the summertime, I do like the "relaxed" schedule I am able to have, and I enjoy camping & outdoor activities & stuff. Fall is gorgeous; winter, I adore. But spring is just messy. Esp. early spring.

I know, I'm weird. Can't help it.:)

LOL. Spring is certainly a schizoid season, can't decide if its winter or summer. And its the only time when Utah is green.
