I vote that she took off, because she is PO'd about the affair.

I vote that she didn't take off because she's close to her family and would never put them through this agony. Her mother is going through hell.

Scott Peterson is an utter anti-social being. He does NOT get it at all. Is it purely about Scott Peterson and no one else. If he is not guilty then he should be branded with a huge ME on his forehead. This way everyone from now on will ask him, "What does the ME on your forehead mean?" And, Scott will have to answer ... "Because it is about M - E, ME, Scott Peterson and I don't care about anyone else's well-being or feelings."

Scott Peterson is a JERK!

Wonder what Scott's family is thinking now? Are they still oblivious? I hope Greta talks about this tonight.

This guy is working from the same playbook as Dana Euell. The kid also from the Central Valley that killed his parents.
A book written by the police dective that cracked that case is called "Catch me if you Can". Scott apparently didn't read the last part of the book where the guy and his buddy get caught. They both thought that they had committed the perfect murder.
Stay tuned boys and girls it's going to get interesting when they find her. I feel for her family. This has to feel like a nightmare without end. To have to go from the joy of her expecting a baby to the lack of closure of the who, what, where and when.

It may take some time but it will be solved eventually.

He and Saddam have taken the same course: "Hiding things in an area the size of California while thumbing one's nose at investigators".

Yes, you're right. He's overconfident, to the point of arrogance.

"His behavior is more disgusting than O.J.'s."

Uh....I don't think so.

IMO, O.J. is at the head of his class in "disgusting".

Seriously, why are we paying attention to this guy, is he someone famous?

Thank you thank you thank you. The way this thing gets talked about here is simply bizarre. I had never heard of Scott Peterson until last week, so I dug around to see what in the world this was all about. Evidently, no, he's not famous. But this thing must be getting played up on the cheesy cable news shows or something, because certain people seem completely caught up in it.

I can't for the life of me figure out why it has attained this level of interest.

Wasn't Sept. 11 supposed to end America's infatuation with these kinds of sensational news stories? I mean, the Chandra Levy gossip/media barrage went on to be symbolized as everything that was frivolous about our pre-Sept. 11 culture. Yet here we are again, apparently. Sitting on the cusp of war with Iraq, and still titillating ourselves with this kind of crap.

'Tis too bad.

The wife was murdered in the house or garage, placed in the boat and then dumped in the ocean during his fishing trip. If ever found, it will be only her remains.......

His behavior is so extreme because he might be a sociopath.

He will be found dead in an alley. Justice will prevail. Does anyone know the story of Dominick Dunne's daughter..the one who was killed by her boyfriend? Dominick wrote a short story called "Watching the Trial of my Daughter's Murderer." It was the most emotionally gut wrenching thing I'd ever read at the time. I was in my early 20's. The guy basically got a slap on the wrist, few years in jail. I asked my Father who was a writer like Dunne, although not nearly as famous, if he would have used his connections to use the press to show the world how unjust the verdict was if it were me who was killed. I'll never forget the look my Father gave me. All he said was, No...the guy would be dead. And you know what, I believed him. Nothing good will become of Scott Peterson should he get away with this.

Man if I were going to split their would be NO way that I couldn't call mother to atleast let her know that I was ok. And as far as the car and house go SP is only out for himself and he has dollar signs for eyeballs. He knows she isn't coming home otherwise he wouldn't be doing all of this crap. This man has no value for human life, and he will pay if not by the hands of the judicial system, but by our higher power.

People have a fascination with crime stories that will never end, regardless of world events.
