Short 20 second preview of the trailer from E!:
here.
Also, check this out not sure what it is yet. Looks like a preview of the trailer in Spanish
Finally, here is all the dialogue from the trailer:
|
Legolas: "The Eye of the enemy is moving..."
Elrond: "The end has come..."
Aragorn: "Every day, Frodo moves closer to Mordor"
Gandalf: "How do we know Frodo is alive?"
Aragorn: "What does your heart tell you?
Smeagol: "Come master....Come to Smeagol"
Elrond (to Aragorn): "This is your test. Every path you have trod, through wilderness, through war. There is an end to this road."
Elrond (to Arwen): "The Enemy will never let Aragorn come to the throne of Gondor"
Arwen: "It is time" "Give him the sword of the king"
Elrond: "Become who you were born to be"
Gollum(looking in puddle): " The Precious will be ours"
Sam: "He means to murder us!!"
Gollum" "Never!"
Frodo: "I'm not sending him away...Come, Smeagol"
Gandalf: "The Board is set, the pieces are moving"
Frodo(?): "He is here"
Gandalf: "We come to it at last"
Aragorn(to a huge army): "I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me(?). The day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship. But it is not this day!"
Dernhelm(to Merry riding in front of her): "Whatever happens, stay with me!"
Aragorn "This day, we fight!!" crowd cheers
Gandalf "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you" i think this was voice-over
Merry to Pippin: "I'll see you in the shire again"
Elrond to Arwen: You gave away your price(??) of grace. I cannot protect you any more
Eomer: "We cannot achieve victory with the strength of arms"
Aragorn: "Not for ourselves, but we can give Frodo a chance"
Sam (in a very hot place, screaming) :"Noooo!!" |

Ugh...here's to hoping its not some lame "Braveheart" type of speech. Imitation is NOT the sincerest form of flattery. Otherwise the film looks to be awesome!

I finally got the trailer loaded from the aol link and watched it. Something that was interesting is how Gollum at the top of the cliff says to Frodo "Come Master, come to Smeagol" and then almost a smirk. Is the wording the same as when Frodo was leading Smeagol to Faramir? "Come Smeagol, come to Master"

Jackson sticks pretty close to the Tolkien quotes for that kind of address. Thing might be though -- since Tolkien wrote so much from real historical events, which one is the imitation; the Braveheart or the ROTK? Has the director of Braveheart read Tolkien?

Where in ROTK does Aaragon make that sort of address?
