Dull throb. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. Whiskey increases the threshold. ;>)

I'm not as concerned about the pain as I am the infection. I need to be able to feed people. Sister-in-law just called and just made a very reasonable demand for 5 chafing setups, a turkey, dressing, another starch, and at least one third pan of a veggie for our family Christmas dinner.

She's my practical s-i-l. She knows I have the gear. We're doing it at her house. She needs the gear. She knows I won't say no. And she rationalizes it as being good practice (which it is).

Very reasonable from her viewpoint. grin!

NO! But I do have some home-made cheddar cheese ageing in the beer fridge. Which is now set at about 48F. Which means my beer is warmer than I like it.

Mozie, I saw "The Two Towers" tonight!! It is FABULOUS! The Coopster and I went, as the rest of the famiy are not readers of Tolkien.

It is inspiring, exciting, sad, funny, and grand! I hope you get to see it soon!

The Battle of Helms Deep is absolutely frightening. And they show the Nazgul! And the Ents are perfect!

Interestingly, the humans who have thrown in with Sauron are in turbans and veiled faces, like Berbers. Lots of talk about duty, honor, and fighting when there is no hope. The Roharrim are good too!

I can't wait until you see this so you can tell me what you think!

Yes. It is very good I use something like that for my brocolli cheese soup.

One of my classmates that dropped called up and wanted a transcript of my notes. LOL! He shoulda listened in class. The only reason I helped is because he's a VietNam era marine.
