How long have we been friends? Don't you know by now what a terrible tricksy person I am???
;-)

Liking action flicks and worshipping action heros are two different things.
I'd date a guy (if I were available) that loved LoTR, but I would draw the line at one who believes that Middle Earth actually existed at some point and that the Dark Lord Sauron could actually come back. (I'm not talking about someone who draws biblical parallels though, that's OK).

Trent Lott stepping down eh? (I am a little slow this morning) Good. Go forth and embarrass us no more!
To: g'nad

I used to hire... when I worked in the real world. I'm not sure what this college teaching thing is, but it's not the world I'm used to. It was always a plus for me when people were comfortable enough in an interview to smile or laugh a little. But - I hired one of those class clowns once. Mainly because his best friend already worked there and was great. And of course the recommendation was far different from the Disaster.

Does your daughter realize that you may have very well saved her life?
A guy that would dare push my mom?!! Whoa Nelly! I'd beat his ever-loving A$$ back into infancy. He'd have to grow up all over again - except he'd never eat solid food and would be cross-eyed for life.

I just really can't stand Steven Segal now.

Have fun, g'nad. See you later!
Don't drink and drive. :)

Yeah, and I tend to be more elvish myself and all, but Haldir, he looked a little too much like a FEMALE elf for me to be comfortable with. Each to her own though. My baby sure thought he was hot..... go figure.

Oh how wonderful!
I've got my new keychain with Becky and Santa on it already. Alyson is still too small and would probably pitch a fit.

Been there, seen that. :(
Isn't it a wonder that you can have a great employee whose friends and family are NOTHING AT ALL like them when it comes to responsibility and work ethic?

I just really can't stand Steven Segal now. I really never could to begin with. Ugh!
Now Bruce Willis on the other hand...

Oh you're fun!!! I like the way you think.
She didn't realize what happened. She was in the kitchen peeling taters. PO TA TOES.
I had broken my arm a couple of days before and was kind of woozy. I went to my room and retrieved some 2nd amendment item... then thought better of what I was thinking and told the kid to leave. Calmed down. a bit. Next day, I went for my little confrontation scene.

You done good mom.

Boy, that one taught me a lesson. Sadly, that was about 6 or 7 years ago. The good guy got a bigger better job very soon afterwards. The bozo still works for the company. I have since to hire anyone based on the word of another current employee.
Now, life is better. I think. I don't have to interview and hire anymore. I'm trying to prepare people to go out and BE hired. (shaking head and mumbling now at what I have to work with.)

Amazing how responsible the populace is when they know right from wrong. Good from bad. etc.

I loved Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepherd together in Moonlighting. I thought they had a lot of fun with those roles.
I am not big on his action flicks, because I am not really a big fan of violent movies. But I was in a bar with him once in Moses Lake Washington of all places. Which ever Die Hard movie that had a plane explode and it was snowing? - They filmed that at the airport I was training at. They waited around a long time for it to snow, and many of the cast and crew were seen lounging in the bar that week.
Funny thing is, when I was in Moses Lake, a Spielberg movie, "Always" with Holly Hunter, Richard Dreyfus and John Goodman, was also filmed there. They were there for months, and I saw Goodman and Holly Hunter around quite a bit. My then-boyfriend was in the film as an extra. It was a good time in my life, but I can't watch the film now without picking him out in every scene, which is annoying for those with me. ;~D
