Good morning Loddy.
I've been having so much fun this morning playing with my new Mini Golf game that I got free from the Norton Systemworks 2003. It's a blast!
So far my best game is 7 over par. I have to get par or under to go on to the next one. Boy, it's getting tricky.. ;) lol

Travancore Devaswom Board to further probe into the presence of women at Pamba during Aarattu and take appropriate action in consultation with the Tantris.
To sum it up; wimmin are not allowed to have darsan during Aarattu.
Although grannie, you will be exempt, your SS are well struck between menarche and menopause and would be just the type to flout the law.
This is exactly what you get when one allows Darks to report on a serious problem.
Read more about the perfidy of wimmin.

Are you getting Babblefish to scramble all your prose, are you on the laptop again from Miguel's sardine and sherry bar?

Can you run the new Norton from the disk, or do you have to install it?
Keep your head down and follow through - have a blast with it.

Okay! OKay! So I DO have a hand in 'helping' other cultures with their image. Kinda like reinventing AlGore kinda thing.
'This is what you need to make people wonder about your culture!'
In a Joe vs. the Volcano kind of way....

Hey Ac.. next year I'm doing this.. :)
A parent degreed one Christmas that she was no longer going to remind her children of their thank - you note duties. As a result their grandmother never recieved acknowledgments of the generous checks she had given. The next year things were different, however.
" The children came over in person to thank me," the grandparent told a friend triumphantly.
" How wonderful !" the friend exclaimed. " What do you think caused the change in behavior ?"
" Oh that's easy ," the grandmother replied. " This year I didn't sign the checks."

ahhhhh.... can you run that by me one more time? ;)
I bought the CD's this time and installed them myself. I did not go for the download. Firewall, virus-scan, and other works, plus a $30 rebate, and a free game. I love the game.. ;)

You play computer games?
Uh oh, you're in trouble. People older than I aren't supposed to LIKE computer games, let alone computers....
Which game is it?

This is just a game of Miniture Golf..but I love it. It's put out by Egames. The 3-D graphics are great, and it has many levels, including amatuer and pro.
My fav game is Doom. I don't have it now. I want it really bad. I like it because I can use the mouse instead on the keyboard mostly. I love shoot-em up games.. I also loved a game that was a plane and you had to shoot all these things out of the sky and the ground bases, and then when you finally won you had to fly down this deep tunnelinto the earth without touching the sides and blowing up. I can't remember the name of it tho.
To: grannie9
Fury3 or Terminal Velocity it sounds like.
I recommend the game Half-Life by Sierra.
You have to use both the keyboard and the mouse, but that actually makes the game easier. You have the game set to 'mouselook' so that you look up an down with the mouse, and forward/backward movement is controoled by the "w"and "s" keys. Strafe left and right with the "a" and "d" keys. Reload weapons with the "r" key and such. A wheel mouse lets you scroll through your available weapons.
And cheat codes... I got cheat codes...

Ohhh. that's it.. Terminal Velocity. I looove that game.. I got down the tunnel a few times.. I was sooo happy.. I got all these games from my son. He put them on a puter he made me.. So I never had them on CD. Can you still buy Doom and Terminal? I have the stick thing at home.. but not here.
To: grannie9
Doom cheat codes:
IDDQD = god mode
IDFA = full ammo no keys
IDKFA = very happy ammo code. Full ammo and keys
IDBEHOLD = will ask you to pick several letters, S,V,I,R,A,L
under Idbehold:
S= berzerker pack.
V= is either invisibility or invincibility.
I= one of either the previous.
R= rad suit.
A= all map.
L= Light amp goggles.
You must retype the code to use another selection.
IDSPISPOPD = walk through walls. Not recommended.

I only have the shareware version of TV.
But teh codes are TRIGODS and other such. can't remember them offhand at the moment. Will have to dig out my code folder.
To: Darksheare
Ok.. I found Terminal online thru google. It's 15 dollars for a registered download.. Should I go for it? Or should I get the cd if I can..? Will it be set up for the mouse?
To: Darksheare
I have all those cheat codes home still I think. But I only used them once in a while. I just play. Sometimes I like the big guns tho.. ;) Yeah, I did use the Ghod mode once in a while..but I like the challenge..
To: Darksheare
Knowing Gary, I only had the shareware version too. He used to put them all in for me. I got into those mind ones like "MIst" etc, but I liked a Motorcycle mind one the best and I can't remember the name. Something like "junkyard dogs"?
To: grannie9
Doom comes in a triple pack with Doom II and "Episode 4" of Doom. Finding Terminal velocity is harder. I haven't yet found the full version yet.
Half-Life is a bit harder to access the cheats to. you have to edit teh properties of the file path in the properties of the program shortcut. (blink blink?)
I know, I had a hard time actuially getting it to work in the first place. But Half-Life comes out now as a boxed set with Team Fortress Classic, HL Opposing Force, Blue Shift.
Right clicking on the program shortcut for Half-Life gives you the cascade menu. highlight properties and click it. You'll get a dialog box with two tabs saying "General" and "Shortcut" Click shortcut. Under shortcut there will be a line that reads "target" You should see a line that starts with the drive the game is installed on like this:E:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe
add to the line so that it says:E:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -toconsole -dev -dev2 +sv_cheats 1
E:\here represents the drive the game is on.
In the game, you can pause it (pause/break key) hit the tilde hkey (~\` key) and type in :Impulse 101, God, and other more interesting items.. like sk_plr_9mm_bullet3 1000
which makes your glock into a tank killer...(the number after 'bullet' is the game skill number)
To: grannie9
You'll have to set up the game to use the mouse. But last i remember you can.
I'd go for the CD, that way you have it onhand. I've had downloaded items get slimed so that the download wasn't any good anymore.
To: grannie9
After beating teh game normally, I just use the cheatcodes. I make myself invisible and blast the monsters.
In Half-life, you say "Notarget" under the console and teh monsters get DUMB. You can walk up and bust them in the head with a crowbar.
