The rain is so bad today that the roads are flooding already in town. I took the kids to school and saw a river flowing at a major intersection.

I'm sure there's some interesting conversations going on in Riyadh these days...and no, neither do I believe a word of their spin.
Stay warm back there Mo. ;-)

On the weather channel the lady just mentioned heavy rainfall in Texas, especially at Waco.

Congratulate me! In two weeks I will no longer be counted amongst the unemployed.
No, I don't have a job. It's just that my last unemployment check is in two weeks. I'll still be unemployed, I just won't be counted...
To: ValerieUSA
So far, so OK here - please keep it away at least until we get my fil buried this afternoon. I don't need to be slipping and dropping my end of the casket.

Why do we bother. Replacing the Saudi Government is gonna be no more difficult than replacing Manuel Noriega was in Panama. It would be a good warmup for the main event. For the moment .. I think we need to use the Saudis and the airbase we have there..among other things
If we pull out now .. all heck would break loose there and the Princes would have to run for the hills .. We need to deal with Saddem first and make sure our military has all the backup and support it needs for this war.
Then I predict Bush gives the Saudis an offer they can't refuse .. not sure they will like it ... but then who gives a hoot what they like

For the moment .. I think we need to use the Saudis and the airbase we have there..among other things Oh I intended that we use the bases. I just think we should turn the tanks around, throw out the government and run it ourselves. Bring back colonialism.

Oh I intended that we use the bases. I just think we should turn the tanks around, throw out the government and run it ourselves. Bring back colonialism. Sounds like a plan! I'm pretty tired of hearing about how they are such good friends of ours. (yeah, right)
