Ok, I made it back. I have prescriptions (2) oh joy, and a corneal ulcer.

I think I will have to give up being vain and just wear my glasses.

Sleeping in my contacts, apparently.

I have to wear my glasses for at least two weeks, and then I may still wear them after that.

It's just that I am so blind so I hate to wear my glasses, if I take them off, I can't see anything. And sunglasses are a witch when you wear glasses. UGGGGG

Damn eye hurts.

Looks to me like the 'burghs will stay home and have their nightlife there. Talk about enervating! It's almost time for a Boston Tea Party.

AZ is going to tax smokers (yet again) another 60 cents for a pack of cigarettes. And Pittsburgh is going to raise taxes on alcohol by 10 percent. But no one is really raising taxes, right?

Oh, Miss Rika, I've done that before. Left the old contacts in overnight. I know how much it hurts.

well at least my little corner of VA said NO, to the dem governor trying to raise the sales tax, ostensibly to improve transportation in NO.VA. I was worried the RINOs would go for it, but it was defeated. so at least marky-mark warner is on notice that we will not just take any tax he tries to shove down our throats!

Your turkey and stuffing sound great, Argh!

After cooking about 10,000 turkeys myself (LOL!), I started cooking them differently about five years ago.

You get the old oven going at 400 degrees. I make a concoction in a ramekin of rosemary, sage, basil, marjorim, thyme, parsley and salt and paper. You clean that turkey up real nice. Dry it off. Stuff it with your favorite stuffing. Oil it with olive oil. Throw on the ramekin stuff. Spread it all over. Add a melted stick of butter on top of the ramekin stuff with a brush.

Put it in the hot oven. Leave it there for 40 minutes until the skin is a nice color. Then drop the temperature to 325. Cook until done.

It comes out not only tasty, but gorgeous.

I'm cooking one this week for Thanksgiving because Cyber wants to cook one in the hot oil. Problem with hot oil is you can't stuff the bird!

I did the lasik about 6 years ago. I was very bad eyesight wise. went through pop bottle glasses, pop bottle contacts, and pop bottle semi permeable contacts. I have been very happy with the surgery. The valium before the surgery really calms you down.

I've been considering the laser surgery for a long time. Lotsa members of my family have had it, and are thrilled with the results -- until -- they need glasses for reading. Then you're back to wearing glasses again.
