Hi Prentice,
Sorry I didn't get back to you last night...just came down from the site and after a week in the altitude I'm toast on Friday night. Fed the doggies and hit the sack early...first full night's sleep in 4-nights.
Our field season is just beginning and to really get the earthworks program started we're having to deal with lots of snow. One of my least favorite activities is loading trucks with snow and hauling it someplace. What a waste, but if we want to take advantage of the short season, there isn't much else we can do. Because of the "mini El Nino", we had a lot of snow this season.
Should be a busy season, because the mine is in closure lots of people have left for other jobs. So, if you want to be the boss, all one has to do is hang on...the last guy standing becomes the big cheese...El Queso Grande, which, to the delight of the Chileans, I refer myself as being. They think that term is very funny.
Got to run, will check in later this evening. After being gone for a week, and with the wifey in the USA, the maid has a huge grocery list, so its off to El Super Marcado.

Sounds like you've been very busy! I'm sorry Yummie is still missing - we get so attached to our little fur friends.
It's foggy this morning, but should burn off and be another beautiful day. I'm busy getting ready for Thanksgiving - hubby's family will be here for dinner - the first time I've hosted anything in our new house. Our dining room table was delivered last eekend. I bought a lovely tablecloth and napkins to dress it up for dinner. Now I have to see if I can find a convention oven or some such thing. Darn it all, this house has only one oven, and the turkey is pretty much going to take up the whole thing. I'll be remodeling the kitchen sooner or later, and can out in a couple of ovens then, but that doesn't help me for now. I'm just looking for something that'll sit on the countertop that I can bake a ham in. Hubby is allergic to poultry of any kind, so I always make another meat entree. So, today I'm SHOPPING!

Your hard drive went tits up.
This isn't funny, but it makes me giggle anyway. I must be immature.

awwww.... I feel bad for Lynn. That's going to be rough for her and her family. She did the right thing to let him go, but it still hurts, I know.

That's terrible, Mo. Your Mom is sure getting fragile.... Does your sister live with her or does she live alone?
