HEY! When do some of the rest of us get to see the new pup? Or get to find oot what kind of pup?
Say, Teach, if you moved to the great Northwest, maybe you could name the new puppy "Seattle Slue"?
OK, OK, I'm leaving...

You're lucky you got through, Arghie. Free Republic has been having some problems today. Slower than a snail in the rain. That's a new metaphor. I just made it up.

"Yeah Robert I was an AF Flight Surgeon in Tankers, Helicopters and missles....Uhmmmmmmn, er, eh ....
(Like how do I tell a official Air Force flight-like surgeon this ???)
Now, I know there's no seat on a Patriot, the bazooka-like LAW round, Sidewinder, Hawk, nor the Corpral, Nike-Ajax, Nike-Hercules, or MLRS rockets - so the Army doesn't need missile flight surgeons.
But, Carl, my-other-brother-in-law who wasn't launchig Patriots at Spuds, was a missile launch guy up in the frozen tundra for several years ....
And, like, you know, he could never "confirm nor deny that there were nuclear warheads on those things" .... (My darling wife says "THERE BETTER DAMN WELL BE WARHEADS ON THEM" or she's gonna get pissed at us wasting a lot of money building 'em ...) .... but I digress.
Anyway, I coulda sworn that he said they "launched 'em" not "rode 'em."
So, like, what's a missile flight surgeon do if there ain't nobody ridin' the missiles? Other than the occasional astronut who rode the early Atlas, Titans and Mercury-Redstones?
Check out the AF's birds for sore wings?
Examine those stealth Candianian geese in case they've infiltrated the silo?
