LOL .. I wish I could .. but my one sister has to live with her so it's the least I can do to help her cause she has to work and can't take off to drive mom to all her appointment .. and that is left to me and my other sister
Beside she is my mother .. I don't want her putting a curse on me or something .. LOL

Geeez .. it would make life easier for me if mom lived closer .. but it's like a 45 minute drive down there ... It would be easier if she lived further away, like, 1500 miles. Then you could hear all about these little emergencies the week after they were solved without bothering you.

A farmer got so old that he couldn't work the fields anymore. So he would spend the day just sitting on the porch. His son, still working the farm, would look up from time to time and see his father sitting there. "He's of no use any more," the son thought to himself, "he doesn't do anything!" One day the son got so frustrated by this, that he built a wood coffin, dragged it over to the porch, and told his father to get in. Without saying anything, the father climbed inside. After closing the lid, the son dragged the coffin to the edge of the farm where there was a high cliff. As he approached the drop, he heard a light tapping on the lid from inside the coffin. He opened it up. Still lying there peacefully, the father looked up at his son. "I know you are going to throw me over the cliff, but before you do, may I suggest something?" "What is it?" replied the son. "Throw me over the cliff, if you like," said the father, "but save this good wood coffin. Your children might need to use it someday."

Not yet .. that is what the earlier appointment was about .. but my sister couldn't let me know how it went yet because mom was around
it's a long story but I think mom realizes she has been goofy lately but her fear is that will put her in a nursing home so she fights us when we try to figure out what is going on with her
And that is what is frustrating about it all

I feel for you Mo. Been there, done that. My sister and I finally had to put my Dad in a home when he started dismanteling the Tv., boiling the electric kettle on the stove, putting ALL is clothes on in the heat of summer etc. etc. Once my nephew who drives big rig, was driving along the highway and there was grampa,at 11pm waiting for the bus.!! That was it.!! Grampa, being the free spirit that he was, only lasted one year after we put him in the home. Even tho we visited him several times a week and took turns taking him out on weekends. It is a very hard time.

Voters news Service, the co-op operated by the Networks and CNN to do exit poling and predicting has taken the choke and has anounced they will not be able to provide any more data tonight.
They are scared shitless they will screw it up as badly as they did 2 years ago, so they just ceased to perform their only function as a business.
