This is the demonstration they invited the public and family to in our barn. They used it for their lab, and still do. This shows how they do all the separation of the stones found by hand. It is screened first and picked over thoroughly. I thought I had a pic of the finds, but I can't "find" it.. lol

This stuff went on day after day, year after year. I can't imagine anyone doing such fine work for any length of time. You have to love it.

I was reading about those crystals in that cave the other day.. Isn't that amazing? Wow.. they should bring some really big good luck.. lol I have one about an inch and a half long.. and I swear it makes me feel good.. ;)

No news yet - but they were expecting six hours or more of surgery. I cannot imagine it. On a creepy note, one of my Jeopardy playing friend's dad died at age 57 from pancreatic cancer three weeks after diagnosis - she says there's not a day goes by that she doesn't think of him.
