In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the “word of the day”; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

i am still laughing that someone would name their kid LAWYER though. what a sick joke that was. did they hear someone was named "tailor" and figure maybe if you named the kid by a profession, they would grow up to be that? like people named RICHARD?

3" are my minimum - I had a couple pairs that were 2.5 - and they absolutely killed me!!!

My exception are cowboy boots - I think that is only because of the build of the boot.

Did you see this in the NY Post (third story down)

"The sheep you see in a pasture also see you - and won't forget you either. Scientists have found the woolly beasts can remember at least 50 different sheep and 10 humans for more than two years.

Professor Keith Kendrick, of the Babraham Institute in England, said, "Sheep, like us, recognize both friends and enemies through a remarkable memory for faces. They are attracted to each other's faces and may even be able to imagine the faces of absent friends."

4 1/2 - good grief you have tiny feet!!!!

I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 - canal boats is what I call them - I guess that's why I like the heels so high - makes the boats look smaller!!!!

Once they had recovered from the surgery, the rabbits attempted to have sex within 30 seconds of being put in a cage with a female.

Well that is a rabbit for you.............
