I was, and remain a big fan of C&H and have all of Waterson's C&H books. It always cracked me up when friends with kids would visit, the kids always grabbed the Calvin and Hobbs books and I'm sure got things out of the strips that I missed. There is something for everyone in Calvin and Hobbs.

Interestingly, with all the funny gifs floating around the net, I don't think I've ever seen any of Calvin and Hobbs?

I have the rest of the week off...it is Chilean independence day (week) down here...diezyocho de septiembre, and it is a huge holiday. Every car in town has a Chile flag stuck somewhere on it and the whole country shuts down until next Monday. And I hate to show any disrespect, so I'm going to relax too.
