Good morning! The sun finally came out about an hour ago..we got some rain, but really need more. Heard today that the farmer's almanac is calling for a blizzard this winter, I sure hope not. :-(
Happy Monday to all, if there is such a thing. ;-)

Thanks for the ping to the Soprano's thread last night, you know I was watching. Bada-bing. :-)

Good morning Kathleen.. It looks like it's trying to break up here too. The temp has gone down five degrees since it's stopped raining. It's now 65. Good, maybe the humidity is leaving..
I'll bet you hate being back to work on Monday?..

The weekends fly by and the weekdays move so much slower, it seems. It must have something to do with time flying when you're having fun...;-)
To: Kathleen
They all move about the same for me.. Fast!!! lol

On the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of whom loved to play together. One day, the two were playing when the horse fell into a bog and began to sink. Scared for his life, the horse whinnied for the chicken to go get the farmer for help!
Off the chicken ran, back to the farm. Arriving at the farm, he searched and searched for the farmer, but to no avail, for he had gone to town with the only tractor.
Running around, the chicken spied the farmer's new Z-3 series BMW. Finding the keys inside, the chicken sped off with a length of rope, hoping he still had time to save his friend's life.
Back at the bog, the horse was surprised, but happy, to see the chicken arrive in the shiny BMW, and he managed to get a hold of the loop of rope the chicken tossed to him. After tying the other end to the rear bumper of the farmer's car, the chicken then drove slowly forward and, with the aid of the powerful car, rescued the horse!
Happy and proud, the chicken drove the BMW back to the farmhouse, and the farmer was none the wiser when he returned. The friendship between the two animals was cemented: best buddies, best pals.
A few weeks later, the chicken fell into a mud pit, and soon, he too, began to sink and cried out to the horse to save his life! The horse thought a moment, walked over, and straddled the large puddle.
Looking underneath, he told the chicken to grab his "thing"
and he would then lift him out of the pit. The chicken got a good grip, and the horse pulled him up and out, saving his life.
The moral of the story?
When you're hung like a horse, you don't need a BMW to pick up chicks.

Good afternoon all...its a cool, showery day here in the Pacific Northwest....the leaves outside, are turning yellow, the skies are cloudy, and we are expecting more rain, over the next few days....
Both BigDom and I are quite well on the mend, the worst of our colds being over....now we are just malingering, I guess...we both still have lots of congestion in our chests, but other than that we feel much better...this was really one of the nastiest colds I have ever had, and glad that it is finding it way out of our bodies, and out of our house....
Loddy, I love that joke about the horsie and the chickie...
Speaking of such things, I remember once, when we visited a game farm up on the Peninsula of Washington, we were viewing this big old Rhino, named Ricky...at this game farm, you stay in your car, and drive around and see all the animals, some of them caged or penned in, some on the loose....
Anyway, this Ricky the Rhino, was obviously having an erection....gosh it looked like a huge plank of wood, underneath Ricky...but we craned our necks, to have a good look, and sure enough, he was having an enormous erection...it was quite the sight...
This particular game farm has a wide variety of animals to view....bears, big cats, prairie dogs, donkeys, rhinos, monkeys, and probably some others...
But when you wind up the drive through, the last place you will be driving through, is the Buffalo herd....the Buffalo are not penned in, but rather have a huge area, that they are free to roam upon....when the Buffalo see a car coming, they come to the road, and come right up to your car, and will stick their huge heads right into your car if your window is open....they want food...usually we bring several loaves of day old cheapie bread from home, and the game farm also sells bread at the entrance...those Buffalo love that bread...
Their big purple tongues come out and they whisk that bread right out of your hand....then those big tongues lick the windows, try to lick the people, in an effort to get more food....they are big, wet, purple, thick tongues....
Once you run out of food, and want to continue on your way, sometimes its hard, as your car, is surrounded by begging Buffalo...sometimes, even when you successfully break away from the herd, they will follow your car, sometimes even running and chasing you...it can get kind of scarey...
After you are done sightseeing at the park, you need to get out of the car, and clean up your windows with windex....and clean yourselves up as well....Buffalo slobber is a nasty thing...

Not very well grannie - had a new connection made and that doesn't work either - lol
Does everyone see the print big at the moment or is it just me?
