If you can keep yourself from passing out first ;-)
To: habs4ever

What do you mean Al? He did nothing but grill the fish.. I made the marinade.. the Ratatouille and the rice.. Boy Loddy..you're a chauvanist pig.. lol lol... ;)
To: grannie9
Goodness - I had no idea! All the while I thought you, like Mrs. L were sipping cocktails, eating bon-bons, and directing the preperation of the meal.
You mean that you were actually in the KITCHEN - woman, shake yourself, and get correct in your home. This whole revelation is making me swoon with the wrongness of it all...bb tomorrow, with luck. ;-)

Just got up again, feeling a little better, just plain groggy tho...
BigDom is feeling better(thats because he got sick before me and passed it on to me..now hes on the mend, and I am in the middle of this mess)....
Anyway, he did not want me to have to cook anything for dinner tonite, so he kindly went out to 'Luckys' a local bar, where they also serve up some fine broasted chicken and jojo potatoes...
So he went over there, and was well enough to drink a few beers and get two orders of the broasted chicken to go...that way, if and when anyone is hungry, I dont have to cook....the food is already cooked...so just need to zap it in the microwave...
That BigDom is such a sweetie...
Well, back to bed for me...
See ya all tomorrow, hopefully I will be miraculously cured...

Look! She lives...to post ;-)Get better.I bet you arise to have a smoke ;-)
To: habs4ever
Boy, do you have that pegged...I could be dying, and still smoke a cig..
When I had my appendix out, when I was in my early 20s, I remember waking up in the recovery room, and my doc was leaning over me, just checking me out, to make sure I was coming to ok...he asked if there was anything he could do for me, and I asked him for a cig...he just grinned, and said no smoking allowed in recovery...(This was in the good old days, when you could still smoke in your hospital room)
When they got me to my room, they gave me some sort of shot, for the pain, and I guess I passed out for a while...but I do remember, after waking up after that shot wore off, I asked the nurse to get my cigs and ashtray...she thought it unwise to begin smoking so soon after surgery, however, she obliged me...I then had a cig, with no ill effects...
Tho, I must say, I have really cut way down on my smoking with being this sick...just a couple cigs a day now...would be good if I could stick to that...

Some fall flowers to start the day.
It's a warm, humid, (of course) rainy day here. I think we're going to rent the DVD...We were Soldiers with Mel Gibson... ;)

Good morning everyone - the movie sounds like a plan for such a day.
I may be needing the receipe for all the goodies to go on my halibut - what a feast you enjoyed last evening.

WOMAN'S RANDOM THOUGHTS
If you love something, set it free.
If it comes back, it will always be yours.
If it doesn't come back, it was never yours to begin with. But, if it just sits in your living room, messes up your stuff, eats your food, uses your telephone, takes your money, and doesn't appear to realize that you had set it free.......You either married it or gave birth to it.

The whorehouse furniture is interesting, Captain. I especially like the pink satin bed, but it doesn't quite go with my decor...
Once upon a time I bought satin sheets but didn't like them 'cause they were *too* slippery. ..;-)
To: lodwick
Good one, Loddy. :-)
