Ah, there it is again. The "experts" giving those "hypocritical Christians" pointers on how REAL Christian should act. You seem to claim some sort of expertise on the ways of Christianity, and rules of behavior for Christians. May I ask from where you derive this expertise?

Hearing David Morrow's take on Ricci is an eye opener. Bishop Morrow knew Ricci and his family. The "christians" on this thread ought to heed his words.

He KNEW them? This family that missed their son's baptism on Jun 5 BECAUSE THEY WENT TO THE WRONG CHURCH!!!!

"We're practically becoming a burlesque with this back and forth. I'm going to TRY to stop."

Thank you for recognizing this so early in your tenure. This thread is becoming a trash heap of snipe attacks. Hopefully, others here will recognize what you have noted and will likewise try to restrain themselves from posting or responding to every perceived slight.

Just when they were getting somewhere here LK interrupted and saved Angela from this line of crappola:

GRACE: Well, this is my question, one of my many questions.

I'm still hung up, Angela, on Neth Moul, the auto repair shop man. I know you've heard that name before. And he has no skin in the game. He has nothing to win or lose. And he says he spoke to Mr. Ricci, that he knew Mr. Ricci, that Mr. Ricci came back covered in mud, the car covered in mud, and that he met with another person from across the street and drove away.

That person, whoever it is, is still very much alive and with us.

RICCI: He did say that. Neth Moul did say that he was almost positive that, he says that that it was Rick that brought the Jeep back, that the person that brought the Jeep back didn't know they were being watched.

So he did not speak to the person that brought that Jeep back, he observed. And that's just...

GRACE: I'm just going on what...

KING: I don't want to leave Mark out.

Mark, what's your read on the death of Mr. Ricci and its affect on this whole matter?

Why are you such an expert on what "christians" should do?

Yeah, Bishop Morrow is really going to get up there and say, "well, we miss Richard, it's too bad he had to steal so much, to support his heroin habit, which may have contributed to his premature death..."

Of course he would center his remarks on the likeable aspects of the deceased.

You appear to me to have a chip on your shoulder when it comes to Christians. If so, why?

Thank you, THANK you, for pointing that out.

Anyone who thinks a minister, etc., at a funeral isn't going to automatically say nice things about the deceased, is about naive enough to send money to some drug-addicted woman whom they've never even met. Wonder if jo6pac has sent his check to Angela.

If this bishop ever spoke to and was around Rick Ricci it was probably only in association with the stepson being baptised around the time of the kidnapping.

Reminds me of the old story about the man who was anything but upstanding that died. The preacher got up and started going on and on about what a great father the man had been, what a pillar of the community. The wife nudged her son and said "Sonny boy, tiptoe up and peak in that casket and make sure that's your Daddy that man is talking about up there."

If the defense of the LDS Church and its bishops is in your hands they may as well cash it in right now, varina.

He KNEW them?

"I found that Richard was a very loving individual, a very sweet individual, easy to talk to and easy to be around," Bishop Morrow said.

"To me, he was a very choice individual, a choice son of our Father in Heaven," said Bishop David Morrow, of the LDS Kearns 10th Ward into which Ricci's stepson was recently baptized. "He certainly is not the type of individual that has been played up in the news media."

This family that missed their son's baptism on Jun 5 BECAUSE THEY WENT TO THE WRONG CHURCH!!!!

Those not familiar with LDS venues for assorted activities could easily wind up at the wrong place. Isn't this correct, Utah Girl?

Well, there are lots and lots of LDS church houses, many in SLC valley. I live in Provo, and there are four within an area less than a mile. And the baptisms are either at the person's wardhouse or the stake center. So there could have been some confusion on the part of the Riccis about where the baptism was to take place. Usually, the eight year old children who are baptized are baptized the same day at the stake center. Those who are converted to the LDS church usually have their own baptism, and that would occur probably at the ward meetinghouse. Just depends.

But Angela Ricci does belong to the LDS church...so she would be somewhat familiar with the many meetinghouses, etc.

Why are you such an expert on what "christians" should do?

It doesn't take an expert to understand Christianity's basic tenets.

Yeah, Bishop Morrow is really going to get up there and say, "well, we miss Richard, it's too bad he had to steal so much, to support his heroin habit, which may have contributed to his premature death..."

No, that would be unchristian. You appear to me to have a chip on your shoulder when it comes to Christians. If so, why?

Fix your glasses or learn to read...then maybe you'll be able to correctly analyse what I post.

Yes, IF she was active or had at one time been active in the particular stake.

I believe I read recently there are about 1,500 wards/meeting houses in Utah. Maybe Utah Girl would know?
