The sketch was drawn by one of the hikers, Smart said.

It's too bad they didn't get the logo on the front face of the WHITE BASEBALL HAT. They have some squiggles there on the sketch but nothing recognizable. Someone would have probably known someone fitting the description that wears a WHITE BASEBALL HAT with that logo. Police got this guy on security video wearing the WHITE BASEBALL HAT stealing beer from a convenience store in Federal Heights shortly before the kidnapping so the probably have his picture, LOGO AND ALL!

I wasn't interested in boys until I was almost 16 years old. I also taught 14-15 year old girls in Young Women in church for three years, spent another four years as camp director for the young women. And we all knew who was boy crazy and who was not. Some girls just aren't interested in boys at 14 or 15, the hormones haven't quite kicked in yet. I have four nieces, well, my four oldest nieces who are old enough to date. My oldest niece wasn't interested until she was 16, her sister still isn't and she just turned 16. My other 16 year old niece is another story, she couldn't wait for her sixteenth b-day, she had five dates that week (and I got to hear about all of them.) So, it isn't abnormal or weird for girls that age to have interest or not have interest in boys, they all mature at different rates.

The point is, that MK wasn't likely trying to fool anyone and simply told the truth about who she thought it was -- or might be. The "who" might be someone that the family hopes will come to his senses and return Elizabeth before more action must be taken. It could be another "handyman" who worked for Ed Smart at the home, or ???????

I still think MK saw a man wearing a WHITE BASEBALL HAT. It was also seen by the milkman, on the security video at the Federal Heights convenience store shortly before the kidnapping, by several searchers that saw him and heard by the gunshots, and now by a previously undisclosed group of searchers that saw him DIGGING A RECTANGULAR HOLE NEXT TO SOME BUSHES TO ROAST A PIG IN THE BOONDOCKS AND HE GOT OUT OF THERE QUICK. AND HE WAS DRIVING A BLUE SUV. During the investigation police may have been told by acquaintances of Ricci that he wore an English racing/golf hat so when they realized he was involved, because they are trying to hide the ID of the person who took Elizabeth from the public, they changed the hat to this style they knew his accomplice Ricci wore. DIDN'T THEY ALSO CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE HAT FROM WHITE TO TAN?

Smart Family Says Report of Man Digging in Canyon “Highly Suspicious”

The Smart family is now focusing on other people known to associate with Richard Ricci. During a news conference held Tuesday, Elizabeth's father reiterated what the family has felt from the beginning.

“The family believes that along with Richard there were others involved,” said Ed Smart.

Elizabeth Smart's family also said they're anxious to know the identity of a man who was digging in Fairview Canyon in Sanpete County. There is a rough composite drawing of the man that two hikers passed reportedly digging a rectangular hole that looked like a "grave." The man told the hikers it was to roast a pig, but then apparently left in a blue SUV.

The family is calling the events "highly suspicious."

Then please, Sherlock or anybody, please give me the pathophysiology behind an intentional brain stem bleed that leaves no other mark. What I am asking is: How could someone cause such a specific brain injury as a brain stem bleed and leave no other brain injury in its wake? If it was due to anticoagulation overdose, Ricci would have been a mess of blood in the ER and the ICU with all the stuff that would have gone on to stabilize him. He had breathing difficulty and headache, both completely consistent with a brain stem bleed. Now, if Ricci had a subdural, dural, cerebellar or cerebral hematoma - I could believe murder. Even unexplained asystole (when the heart stops) I could believe to be murder.

OK, I get your point. But who in this saga owns a blue SUV? I remember the white car, the silver Honda, the car Edmunds drove, the Jeep Cherokee, but I don't remember anything about the blue van/SUV.

Omigosh!! I had no idea that this is why all the commotion about this present situation.... sure looks wierd to me at this point. Makes it real difficult to believe much about our SLPD and this whole investigation.

The blue SUV is the same blue van (we now learn that it was either and SUV or a van) that picked up Ricci after he left his Cherokee with Neth Moul.

OH!!! Light clicks on in my head. I missed that vital piece of info. BTW, thanks for your medical comments. I used to work in a pharmacy, but had no experience with warfarin.
