I don't share your opinion of Alan Keyes - that is true. But I generally try to follow the rules, expressing my opinon without getting personal with other Freepers; typically - and anyone who really knows me knows this is true - people get personal with me before I get personal with them. If that's the tone they set, I'm happy to oblige (and honestly, I should probably just walk away - I'll concede that much - but like you, I am a bit of a scrapper).

I think everyone who is here simply has to be able to tolerate some level of disagreement, and often Keyes supporters, it seems to me, have some trouble with that concept.

As for labeling my way of expressing myself "hate", I wouldn't call the way you treated me this past weekend a love letter, either. :)

Keep in mind that it's all in the eye of the beholder. For all of us.

The moderation is here is far more even-handed than a lot of people think it is. Maybe Bush supporters complain about it less - I don't know.

I would imagine that after the heat of this past weekend those moderators that I was conerned with are taken back a little and would strive to do a better job.

With regard to the two moderators in question, it's been my experience in business and elsewhere that people that exhibit an extreme unfitness for a position rarely redeem themselves. Most likely they will cool it for awhile and resume their natural behavior at a later point in time.

I've heard a lot about these two and if half of it is correct they would make certain Olympic Ice Skating Judges look good by comparison.

Personally, I think my 12 year old daughter does a better job photoshopping than some people who shall go unnamed, has a better sense of humor, has the discretion not to post personal info of other people over the internet, nor is she so sanctimonious that she'd have a small squad of people screeching for her return after banning.
