Apparently, Bushbots are possessed of a better sense of humor. However, all are welcome here, and I don't try to get people banned, unless they are psychos.
We shall see how civil the anti-Bush people are.The proof is in the pudding.
Oh Boy, I'm book marking this and saving it on hard copy!!
She invited me to her house once, surely as much of a "Republican-free" zone as anywhere on the planet. I spent a stultifying boring 3 hours looking through her scrapbook filled with nothing but clippings from old back-issues of High Times and some lovely pressed flowers. Her father came home and I thought I was going to get a break, but he invited me out on the back porch and subsequently bent my ear for a couple of hours on the topic of botany and the care and feeding of native American plants.
I was a perfect gentleman though; I sent her a bunch of posies the very next day. I found the bundle in the trash later; somehow, they got burned.
Bwahaha, what day was that? I must have missed it. ;)
Oh, I agree. Just want to save that snippet for when I need it some night.
......and since when do you tell me what to do? You stop it.
The other new rule is when we go FR camping, you have to share a tent with Tpaine :)
Well, sorry to hear that Laz. But as a Bushbot who plays fair, I would like to point out that those who have become so vehement and vicious in their posts have done so as a means of self-defense and survival. It all started back with the alleged amnesty. When Bush supporters voiced their opinions, they were attacked. And it wasn't their policy opinions that were attacked. They were attacked personally. So, you either tuck tail and run or you stay and fight. Many who were labeled Bushbots chose to stay and fight. For every Bushbasher who has left FR, a Bushbot has joined them. And like the many who may have left FR because of perceived unfairness, it goes both ways. Life isn't fair. It sounds trite, but it is oh so true. It sounds a bit like the ol but he hit me first argument we had as kids.
My contention has always been that if FR has become a place that people feel the need to leave, we have only ourselves to blame- each and every one of us. No one is innocent. We either make FR a romper room for viciousness, slander, and hatred or a place for good political discussion and action area for conservatism. Id prefer the latter.
Sincerely, RWP
For once we agree on something, I'd pay good money to see that!
LOL you can't flush in the woods :)
