Have yall seen any of those threads on the David Westerfield trial (murder of 7-year-old Daniell VanDam)? Very frightening bunch in there. I didn't follow the trial, watch CourtTV, read the transcripts,etc. But I was interested in the outcome, so dropped into the threads to see what the latest was. Yikes! Those are some vicious people in there. There is a "Westerfield was FRAMED!" contingent there who will tear apart anyone who dares disagree with them.

My husband is going to build a sort of wine cellar in the crawl space - plenty of room down there, nice and cool. He'll just put in some racks to stash the wine. The home spa isn't going to happen right away - too many other priorities to take care of first. Ah, the joys of homeownership!

I certainly do not agree with the Van Damm's lifestyle and I think they endangered their children and left them vulnerable by having a parade of perverts and dopers in the house - BUT the evidence is clear that Westerfield is the murderer of Danielle and it was a horrible crime that deserves the death penalty. I see people acting like it is no big deal to have tons of child porn in your computer. YIKES!
My gripe with the trial is that it happened too fast, and I think others may have been involved with the crime and it should have been investigated a little deeper. I also think there is more to the relationship between brenda and westerfield - too many contradictions there.
The crimes against Danielle may have been recorded for sale... the child porn industry generates an ever-sickening market.

What bothers me is I saw posters referring to Westerfield as a good and decent man. This, with tons of child porn on his computer. I think there probably is more to this story than we know about, but I have a hard time believing that this man is innocent.

Hazel O'Leary was certainly problematic. She handed out classified documents to reporters, and when they pointed out that these documents were classified, she took them back, and draw a slash through the "Classified" stamp and handed them back. Why isn't she in jail?

I've got to get my scanner hooked up. I found kitten photos of my Maine coon cat. She is 13 years old now, so those photos are getting old. She was such a cute little kitten! She weights 14 pounds now, down from an obese 17 pounds.
