I really don't believe that there is any real "prophacy"
I don't believe in fate or predestination.
On the other hand, what if I'm wrong and the earth is about to rock and roll,.................
there's nothing I can do about it, so....
I guess I'll pick up a hooker and go th the racetrack.
I think we are on the same page. I believe that bad things happen to bad people as well as good ones, but bad people have the lions share of grief due to their own choices.
The story about the little Jewish baby who was killed recently by a bear, really tugged at my heart because that event apparently happened to a family who did not deserve it.
A firm faith is the only thing that could help them in their time of grief.
Faith is a good thing.
Real reality to me is the fact that our young people need our advice and caring more than ever today. That is why I (a man in his mid 50s) have dedicated the balance of time on earth to the Boy Scouts. I do this in order to teach them what I have leaned and to instill a desire to be a better person on a daily basis. That is what we do.
It is a rewarding endevor and challenging job. I would hope that my reality is the proper perception of what I see.
Well, that said, I must go and mow some grass.
Have a great day!
I think Quix is most sincere and thoughtful in his posts.
I appreciate that very much.
I was indeed just kidding. It's an unusually nice day here and I'm just enjoying all the different points of view....
I just always have to add something immature.....Oh well
(post time's at 7:30)
retired electrician?
Yup!
Like below: Go here for the link and text: Elijah Visions
A woman who lives in Portland, Oregon had a dream of she and her whole family swimming and the whole state seemed to be underwater. She said, "Guess that will be how I will die."
That is consistent with many other dreams and visions about which most people mock and scoff. There is MUCH scripture on this subject, and about the earth reeling like a drunken man, turning upside down, islands vanishing, and so on. The left coast falling into the sea and the break-up as above would certainly cause a big enough splash and displace enough water for all the island to flee away (Greek: vanish).
Re 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
Re 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
Here is another from our personal file: First, 2sheep are two-sheep. Sheep2 (S2) is the one to study quakes/volcanoes. S1 had a significant dream July 4, 2002. In the dream S1 saw a fancy dinner plate which used to sit as a cherished possession in the center of someone's table. It was called "The American Plate." It had disappeared and people were searching for it. The dream was repeated several times.
S1 awoke and asked me (nowing I've read a lot about earthquake sites lately), "Is America on one plate?" I said, Yes.
I'll see if I can find my links on that study. There is a rift in the middle, it is bowed and may be correcting, according to some scientists. Perhaps it was Nuttli.
Was it a pie plate? Bye bye, Miss American pie...
How long before America hoists her "victory" flag upon Babylon?
