Change of subject. I think Saudi Arabia is afraid of a reverse domino effect. If Iraq becomes a pro-western democracy (which it will), Iran will not be far behind.
The rich arab monarchy's have been sending thier offspring to western schools for years. They may not end up as secular, democratic nations, but they are not stupid.

My Mom said that even in the mid-50s the college in her California town had a huge number of foreign students from the middle-east. This has been going for generations - but they haven't much to show for it because they are still Islamic. They are doomed.
