I am talking about the fact that the "blood" evidence supposedly proving that Danielle was killed by Westerfield was the weakest excuse of evidence the prosecution may have presented.
When we are talking about putting a man to death, you better prove BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that that is really Danielle's blood/DNA. The prosecution did not prove this.
To: ican'tbelieveit
I completely understand you...unfortunately, the defense didn't even argue against it. They knew better.
To: ican'tbelieveit
I should have asked you..why didn't the defense argue against the blood test?
To: Rheo
If you can't get a smell from a shoe, you can't get a smell from anything! And the sniffer dogs didn't find a scent = DW wasn't there, period!
That was the time to start looking at another suspect. Did they?? Hell no.....they had there man and by God they were going to try to build a case anyway they can. Sorry if anger is showing thru these comments.

The defense arguing against it has nothing to do with them knowing better. The defense did a fantastic job presenting reasonable doubt on several fronts. It is not his duty to fight it all, just present reasonable doubt to the prosecutions case. Since he did it on at least 4 fronts as far as I am concerned, he did his job. Could he have done better, I don't know. I didn't have to prepare for this case in the time given by the prosecution.

I accept your apology.

I'm tellin' ya ... I very much wonder how many, if any, of those cops are connected to that international porn ring. At a minimum, we know some of them are friends or friends of friends of the Van damns.
I know I keep harping on this, but I feel Danielle's death is but the tip of a very deep and sick volcano in San Diego. I hope the Swedish investigations are a sign that it's getting ready to blow! I sure hope this doesn't turn out to be all hot air and ash.

Biting my tongue....
To: JudyB1938
I have to agree, that the international porn rings being busted up, and the recent increase in abductions..is it all related? Are there any LEO's involved?
To: JudyB1938
Or is it just an increase in publicity?
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
OH, gee, I wouldn't do that if I were you. Might produce some poorly placed blood/dna evidence.
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
Why are you biting your tounge?
To: ican'tbelieveit
LOL I'm telling you..that took guts to repost a deleted post..
To: CAPPSMADNESS
Because of this ongoing "argument", reposting deleted posts..the whole biz. It would be nice to drop things once in a while, that's all.
To: Hildy
I was KIDDING. It's called...sarcasm. In fact, I don't care if anyone apologizes to me. Oy vay.If this was indeed sarcasm, you may not want to attempt it again, as it surely did not come acrossed as such (no /sarcasm tag or anything) and there isn't one response that I have read that considered it such either.
To: CAPPSMADNESS
If its not too bad to explain, what would be the other reasons?
Freepmail for you!Although I think you've touched on the same subject with me once before could you hit me with one of those freepmails also? Thanks.
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~; demsux
I had to laugh at that exchange ... which is preferable?
To be bitten or to be screwed?
Well, since I don't like to be bitten, I guess demsux's post is the worse. The Admin Monitor must feel the same way, so that's why demsux got picked on this time.
So, remember, demsux - clean up your language. From now on, tell people SCREW YOU instead of BITE ME.
(Ok, I'll go back to my corner now)

"Because of this ongoing "argument", reposting deleted posts"
Although it may be a bit off topic, no more so than the chigger discussion, and it is an important topic which has some people quite perturbed, including myself. I am not quite sure why you are getting upset about it - I don't believe it has anything to do with you.
To: ican'tbelieveit
I'm sure they did spend a lot of time going over what they thought were the most important issues to neutralize or attack. We may have to agree to disagree on how many issues feldman won on. As far as I can see, he won the dog issue, maybe won the dirty dancing issue, blurred the porn issue, failed on the child porn issue, fiber issue, and failed to address the points DW made in his statement to police. That's just a few things..
