As I have said, I am new to this investigation. But I have not read this,Jurors deciding David Westerfield's fate have spent part of their deliberations reviewing pornographic movies depicting the rape of young girls.

Were there videos of girls or women being raped?

If the prosecution would lie that outrageously in closing arguments, it is obvious he would lie about everything else.

According to the PROSECUTION's whole case, and opening and closing statements, the MEDIA, the LE's, this must be true.

They said that DW lied about this, about that, so he's guilty and lying about everything.

I was thinking that BVD may have had a Bed arrangement in her home. Haven't there been some famous stories/busts about these "hooker housewives" - running a prostitution ring out of their homes during the day?

Heck, a high-school acquaintance of mine was doing phone sex on Saturday mornings while her 4 year old son was watching TV downstairs, and her husband was at work! (By the way, that little factoid ended the acquaintance-ship)

Ok just for argument sake...DW is convicted..OK...that is going to take years and years to change...in the meantime..what are you all going to do about Dusek and the DA's who we know are just as corrupt as the defense attorneys.

It's just a no win situation for any of us. And frankly I really have no great idea how the system is going to be changed. Feldman is not a man of integrity. He would have defended OJ if he was the chosen one.

I recently was a plaintiff in a bankruptcy proceeding. The trustee was supposed to be working for the state... OMG..this guy was the biggest bastard I could not even have imagined in my entire life. Call me niave but hey, I was the plaintiff, this was thrown into my face.

I have yet to go review the final bankruptcy papers but I do know one thing, no creditors got paid...Mr Trustee got paid and all his lawyers and accountants and appraisers....

I used to have a bit of faith in the state lawyers but not anymore. I almost lost my home. Even my own lawyer took abuse from this bastard.

Feldman would defend a man he knew was guilty, I have no doubts about that. It must personally pain him to have his whole law career in this case in public with many watching and he may fail.

The entire legal system today is screwed.

In a vaguely relevent defense of the VDs, I think in the past there was lots of speculation about their income. We now know that they have made money on the side for years in real estate. That's one reason she used that term.

Glad you said that. I didn't know they were making money on the side. That would explain some things. There are likely explanations for many of the things we find suspicious about the VD's and I would accept any of those explanations, UP and UNTIL Danielle's disappearance.

Then I say, doesn't matter , they had no reason from that point on to LIE to POLICE while their daughter could have been found alive. (unless they already knew she was dead, for instance).

I am sorry I missed the hostility on the Elian threads...

I was very in the middle on Elian...his father had a right to him but I wanted him to be an American after his mothers flight.

I did not appreciate the mothers dubiousness in getting Elian to USA.

I hold a prayer for that child that he will be the leader to start a new cuban govt.
