One article says the backpack was not related to this case. It was mentioned, for what that's worth.

Hi CTD...I've enjoyed your smart and cogent comments on these threads. I haven't been able to follow the case closely, but my sense is that jury will find DW guilty. I agree, DVD is more likely suspect, however. WE shall see, and perhaps soon.

Yeah, and Diane Halfman said the same thing to searchers who found a bloody sheet in the area as well. Evidence tampering? Nah. /so

Thankyou for the kind compliment. I really think there will be either a quick aquittal or a hung jury. Any quick decision will surely be a 'not guilty', The longer is goes, the worse the odds for DW.

First, I Thank you. For responding to my questions.

In your browser, type in WWW.MCF.TV

and read from there.

You have a change in attitude as far as the suspicions others have about Damon.

I hope you stick with these threads until the end.

IF Westerfield did it, then He should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

IF not, WHO DID IT? SD police were pointed at DW by Brenda.

Then they found some things that seemed suspicious, which if someone has TOLD YOU SOMETHING to make you believe you have the PERP, would look suspicious.

Otherwise, you would not have even given those things notice.

Consider, why were the CD/DISKs in an envelope and sticking UP from the BOOKS on the BOOKCASE ?

Kinda like a RED FLAG. Like someone MEANT for them to be found.

Why did most of the prosecution witnesses state IN COURT that the police did not copy down their STATEMENTS correctly?

Why did police LIE on the WARRANT used to search DW's house (The police have Admitted to this, matter of fact, not rumor).

There are so many other questions that it makes it seem like LE decided on a perp then went on a witch hunt to find only evidence that would pertain to DW. All other evidence (prints/hairs/missing PJ's/lies from VD's) was ignored.

After you read the MCF website, let me know what you think.

Wouldn't her brothers know whether she came home from school on Friday?

The brothers did not testify in court. They were not subject to cross-exam.

Their statements were taken by police who only asked certain questions.

Did they ask if danielle came home from school? We don't know for sure.

I know that the boys said Danielle got out over the fence and Dyllen (sp?) did too and they got 'in trouble' for it. Brenda claimed they never left the yard without permission. This info was suppressed by Judge Mudd.

SO, what the boys could say is dependent on what they were asked. SO, I can't really answer your question.

Damon said he was home when Denise,Barb showed up. Why does Damon have a different story about BRENDA/Danielle's location when Denise/Barb arrived than Brenda has?

Was Damon not really there? Was Danielle even there? Were Denise/Barb lying? Barb didn't appear in court, WHY?

I would assume they asked everyone when was the last time you saw Danielle.

Everyone would include (Damon,Brenda, the boys, Denise,Barb)

Damon and Brenda had different stories as to Danielle's and Brenda's whereabouts when Denise Barb arrived.

Barb didn't/wouldn't testify.

Who knows if the police asked the boys. They had no reason to doubt the parents at first.

His buddy buried them in FL.

Where is Damon's BLUE VAN? (In Florida, went through the car crusher with Daneille's PJ's in it).

I would like to apologize for over-reacting and coming down hard on you myself.

I get so used to the afternoon HITANDRUN's that do nothing but make personal attacks, then go hide. They all seem to have the same responses.

What about the OJ trial?

You all are idiots, etc.

I hope you continue to post on these threads even after the JURY verdict and we can discuss/debate our opinions/conclusions/speculations.

Thanks for staying.

If it's that important to throw the guilty in jail, shouldn't we as a society make sure we have the right person, and make sure that innocent citizens shouldn't have to bankrupt themselves when the corrupt and overzealous agents of the state come to the house with the legirons?

Not to mention the money that would be saved by the taxpayers. I belive the cost to keep one person in jail for a year is what now? $30,000-$40,000? At that figure it better be a guilty SERIOUS offender.

What, in your opinion, does 12 of 13 markers matched mean (This is what the experts said about the spot on the carpet and DW's jacket)?

Do you know how many markers it takes to make and exclusionary match from DNA?

1. I think he made a quick in & out snatch, after the Van Dam's were asleep for the night.

and left absolutely no trace evidence, circumstantial or otherwise

2. I think he suffocated Danielle with a pillow.

where is the pillow? the pillow would have evidence of such a means of death all over it. Also, where are the telltale signs of suffocation?

3. I think he killed her, after he got unstuck from the sand. (I believe the tow guy who thought he heard a voice inside the rv.)

proceed to #4...

4. I think Danielle died in the rv, but she may have been near death when she was taken there.

yet the cadaver dog failed to "hit" in the MH and absolutely no evidence of a murder scene

5. I think he dumped the body on the last leg of his week-end roadtrip.

and his bloated self carried her dead body up a very steep incline with no witnesses...

6. I think there's no evidence of him in the VD house, because it was a quick entry/exit, and because he's too smart to have left fingerprints

but too stupid to get the dna off of his coat and out of his MH....OH PUHLEEEEEEZE!!!

7. I think there's no more evidence of Danielle being in the rv because Westerfield got rid of it, along with the body on his way back home. And everything else, he laundered.

and cleaned and bleached everything soooo well that there was a layer of dust on everything in the motorhome and all no bleach marks on anything!

That is why the rope analogy and the guy cheating at 21 examples done by Dusek were important. In his game of 21, the card player won every hand and the chances of him doing that without cheating is nill. But taken one hand at a time its possible that each he could win each individual hand. But common sense tells you that you have to be cheating if you win dozens of hands.

All of that assumes that the DEALER is honest.

we would ask her, "Danielle, tell us, who did this to you?" She would answer, "I already told you.

In her journal.
