It is my opinion that from the very beginning, the LEO's were in a conspiracy to direct attention away from the VD's. Don't forget that police gal who advised Brenda immediately. Also suspicious is the retired policeman who is head of one of those swinger groups. In other words, I think some of the SD cops are swingers themselves. And they've been known to railroad people before.

When the jury finally goes out, I hope you'll put up a FR jury poll thread so we can all vote.
In case I miss it, I'm not convinced beyond reasonable doubt that DW did it. But I think jury will vote guilty.
Maybe keeping a tally of FR personal votes and opinion of jury votes would be interesting. Two columns, or whatever you, oh computer savvy one, can come up with.

The above allows you to put a poll on a webpage. Perhaps you could do it, Jaded; since you have all the other stuff already gathered together?

Prayer 12:00AM EST, 11:00AM CST, 9:00AM PST. It's a prayer for the jury. Click on Jury Prayer. There's also a ping on FR.

I have often wondered if the pj's were removed because they either had DNA of the perp or traces of drugs. There is after all the unID'd DNA on her blanket.

Funny you would say this because I have thought about it. He does have a huggable look about him.The eyes it's in the eyes. Or in DW's case it IS NOT in the eyes. Seriously when Fres posts that photo of him looking at someone else talking, the close-up, he's not even smiling but his eyes are so kind.
The eyes are truly windows to the soul and frankly when I look at DVD I not only sense decit and evasiveness but dammit mostly SHAME I even feel shameful when I concentrate on a picture of him.
I came by a gift by gods grace and I am telling you when this story first broke, I had that niggling feeling that I've only gotten usually by looking at a photo of someone who is lost or may or may not be dead and I got it when I saw DVD and then the later confirmation when I saw Dnielle's photo.

Didn't somebody say he almost slipped, but cut it off at "stealth"? I laughed so hard when I read that.

The planting of false trails by criminals, designed to implicate others as suspects, cannot be ignored. No kidding this has already happened. A man charged with a rape while in jail has a friend take his sperm and do a mock/fake rape of a girlfriend. He leaves this other guys sperm on/in her she reports it and when they test the DNA it is recorded as his. Later at trial this is brought up how did obviously someone elses sperm match someone in jail?
Granted it may just be a tall tale but the person swears it was true.

Today I heard him say "stealthily". Apparently he said it yesterday too. He made a point that I've made on a couple of pages about humiliating Neal just for kicks. Maybe they do read our stuff.

One time I cut just the eyes out of pictures of criminals and compared them. Some common features:
1) Heavy or very thin brows
2) Noticeable difference between each eye
a) Size
b) Shape
3) Stares:
a) "Crazy" look
b) No Emotion
c) Evil
d) Predatory
e) Sad
4) White showing around the pupil at the bottom
Also, another thing I noticed is that most of them had the corners of their mouths turn down. It takes years of hurt or hate to create that effect.
So, I've done the same thing other people have done and looked into the eyes and face of Westerfield. I see no evil there.
To: Jrabbit
And I would like to know exactly when the LE cleared the VD's and friends. Has that ever been stated?Too damned early THATS for sure!
To: alexandria
Boy......you've touched on a feeling here. He does have kind eyes. It's so very hard to look at him and believe he could have committed this crime.
It's a sense of right and wrong too. I'm not sure what all contributes to the feeling, but it's something I have felt in my gut from the beginning. Add the flimsy case that we have been shown and it all makes sense.
It's odd for me too. I am usually a rabid prosecution supporter and gung ho death penalty advocate.
If David Westerfield is found guilty by this jury, I will never feel comfortable with the decision. Normally I would be gleeful and especially with a child murder case.
But this case is different in so many ways. Maybe it's because we do catch a glimpse of David's soul. He may have many flaws, but I don't see a murderer.

I couldn't agree with you more.

I wonder how many jurors see the same thing that we all do.
To: Southflanknorthpawsis
About the eyes.
I couldn't agree with you any more either. I still can't figure out why I got so sucked in to this case. It's not the type of thing I would ever get this drawn into. I know I'm cynical but the feeling here.... well call it intuition, inspiration, I'm not sure. I know I've made suggestions about David being complicit in some way, but I can't even really buy that. I still don't see it, all the cynicism aside.
Like you, I've been here a long time and read more than my eyes can deal with and the numbers still don't add up.
Hope for the best for David and his family.

I don't either. The unsettling thing was the feeling I get when I see someone photo that has passed away I KNOW I can feel a finality if you would call it such.
I have NEVER felt that when I've looked at a live person but I did with DVD.
I can only surmise from that and the fact that when I saw her photo soon after and KNEW she was gone that he had something to do with it .
It was still fresh on him the finalness he hadn't had time yet to convince himself that he really had nothing to do with it as he had to convince everyone else at the same time.
If you think I'm a nut, well so be it. However Douglas Pierce felt the very same thing.
