Thanks, and my ramblings were probably those of a nervous mother who's always second guessing herself. By the mid-teens you can't hover over them every minute of the day, how embarrassing! But at the same time we have to strike that balance between giving them reasonable freedom and keeping them safe. I wrestle with it every day, and we have plenty of rules at our house with safety in mind. At any rate, my prayers are with those girls in California. Being out late at a local lover's lane is not something I approve of, but they didn't deserve to be snatched for some pervert's twisted pleasure.

Hi ClaraSuzanne, kassie, All,

lysie, thanks for your very informative posts this morning about traitor Ritter. Your investigative skills are impressive. That's a weird story about that kidnapping in Lancaster, California. There's a thread running and some articles about it here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/725891/posts?q=1&&page=1

DJ, you've had some wonderful rants lately and I sure have enjoyed them!

Guennie, thanks for the news about your daughter. I'm glad to hear that things are looking so well for her.

illstillbe, thinking of you and *Sparkles* pup. Molly, thinking of you, too and hoping you had a great time on your trip.

(((Jemian))), it's been so nice having you around more often since you've been back in the USA. I'm glad you don't have to haul that lawnmower home with you. Will you be getting the basketball uniforms back with the necessary embroidery? Happy birthday to your son. I'll bet you can't wait to give him some big birthday hugs in person. Travel prayers being lifted for you.

Hello all. I'm here for a bit, waiting on the dryer, and then, I get to iron. Again. Thrill.

The bratling is sick for the first time in living memory. She's running a 102 degree fever, so Trill has taken her to the Dr. I'm waiting on word from them.

I will be in Austin from 8/11 till 8/15.

If I was back on day-shift that week, I would suggest meeting for dinner somewhere. You will be pretty close to here.

Now I want to make sure you did all of the proper investigating.

This firm doesn't use Arthur Andersen as their accountant and Citibank as their financial advisor, right?

BREAKING...

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Two former top executives of bankrupt telecommunications firm WorldCom Inc were arrested on Thursday for their role in the $3.85 billion accounting scandal that has rocked confidence in corporate America, an FBI spokesman said.

Two Former WorldCom Execs Arrested

Another example of this Administration taking care of business (no pun intended).
