but is one of these pictures supposed to represent the orange fiber from Danielle's necklace??? You should ask the person that posted them. I am not sure.

Eva, did you see the trial yesterday? The defense implication about the LE shirts and vests was totally debunked.

The prosecution did analysis and showed the jury those items could not be the source of the orange fibers.

One of the shirts in question was, in fact, red, so you have good eyes!

Hate to split hairs, like he's the only one? Maybe he thought about going, Neal had other plans. Then he told Neal no. Then he decided Friday to go, because he asked someone on Friday. Also depends on what spur of the moment is. My ex would plan his trips to SA a month in advance. None of this decide a couple of days before. NOTHING SPONTANEOUS. Some men are just weird that way. Sorry I meant people.

Not at the weekend, but he had plans with his friends & mother's family members. He spent Friday & or Saturday night at a friend's home. Sunday he spent at his uncle's house for Super Bowl Sunday. On Monday, he was to go to his father's house, which he did.

Also, I want to apologize for being rude, I should have said you are making the same mistake, instead of implying you are lying on purpose. I am sorry.

Tell me if I am incorrect.

You are incorrect! :)

The prosecution has not tried to tell the jury *what* the items were, just that there were items---blue and orange---that left fibers on Danielle that were also found in his home, bed, MH and SUV.

They are saying Danielle would not have those fibers on her if she had not been with him over the weekend.

I will need to go over Neal's testimony again - and his friend and the mom too - but I thought it was more spur of the moment that Neal showed up at the friend's house - and that the mom expected Neal not to be there cuz he would be camping with his dad. I know Neal said his Dad did not ask him to go - wish he'd have clarified more - with something like "He didn't ask me cuz he knew I already had plans" - but I don't think he did.

Here's an example of "spur of the moment":

We are going snowboarding at Big Bear and use Bill Libby's cabin (just me and Derrick, no need to bring Danielle, Brenda or Dylan), no, now we're not going, so Bren can celebrate Denise Kemal's divorce (btw, finalized January 31, 2002).

If I were taking my son on a weekend adventure (remember, at this point Libby is not going), I can GUARANTEE that my wife and daughter would want to be included.

Witness agreed that fiber on necklace was dull orange-others were bright orange.

She did not agree the fiber was dull orange, just that when cataloguing evidence when she first received it that she noted it as "dull".

After cleaning and testing the fiber was shown to be bright and matched the many bright orange fibers in DW's environment.

Me too...I can not figure it out so I gave up

I, too, thought it was very odd that only Damon & Derrick were going on the snowboarding trip. (Sounded very selfish.)

In my case, if I wanted to go out with friends, my husband would take all the kids with him & let me have time to myself.

DW's trip was planned ahead of time. He ended up gettting bored with the PLANNED part of his trip, and picked up camp, and headed off to other places to see if he could find his friends, or other interest. THAT PART of it was the SPUR OF THE MOMENT he was talking about.

That is one interpretation.

I totally disagree with your tone that that is the only interpretation. DW may have been deceptive about this to the police. Why not tell them your story instead of telling them just "it was spur of the moment".

No need to get to mad when people don't agree with what you think of the evidence.
