And, who put the body at Dehesa on or about 2/16?
To: UCANSEE2
No, his theory is that he kidnapped her, put her in the SUV and drove her to where the MH was stored and took her in the MH there, raped and killed her , took her back in the SUV, dumped her body and drove home. Then went back to get the MH and meandered around all weekend.

If he has to prove HOW/WHEN/WHERE, his case is sunk. PROOF I am right? Watch how hard DUSEK fights to NOT LOWER THE CHARGE.Yes it would make Duseks job much harder.

"All driving took place in the SUV."
How in the "h" did the blood get in the MV then. Your theory that it 'dropped off' is way off base... by that time it would have been dried. None of his DNA was mixed in with it.
How did her fingerprints get in the MV then.... "holes in your theory?"... so many it looks like it was hit with a machine gun.
What size is your tinfoil hat?

No proven blood in motorhome. How could you possibly know where the infamous drop of DNA came from? You seem to have a very vivid memory of this crime, way beyond anything the prosecution is claiming. Wouldn't a beer bottle be even more inflammatory? The blood that the prosecutor will claim is the girls was to my memory on the floor between the RV bedroom and the bathroom.
To: cyncooper
It takes more than a disgruntled witness. Dear Cyn. That is where you are mistaken.
To: UCANSEE2
OF course it's not an automatic win.. it's a 50/50 chance..but in some past cases, all the jury needed to hear was the closing argument, just "to understand" where "the people" were coming from.

ROTFLMRO!!!! OMG!!! (Laughing & crying here!) That's so hilarious!!! GOOD ONE!!!

Who's the client?I didn't ask that question. Then is what follows your closing statement?
To: UCANSEE2
And your point? I am very interested in what you are trying to point out.I was assuming that you and others were attempting to say that because the arrest warrant was flawed he shouldn't have been charged with the crime. It was my guess that the process requires some checks and balances in the event someone were arrested with flaws.
I assumed that was what the preliminary hearing was all about so I went to the transcripts looking for the final say of the judge after hearing the case. I would think that any flaws in the original arrest would be mitigated by the process of the hearing and the presence of Westerfields attorney.

Sorry, maybe not clear. The jury could believe the story of dog handler that his dog hit on the RV, or not believe this and that it means she was not in the RV that weekend or not believe the dog hit, but believe no hit is still not proof she wasn't there. Clear as mudd now I think...

Got your freepmail reply. Thanks!

I have tried to logically reason out how people are willing to buy into Westerfield getting into and out of the Van Dam house, etc., without so much as a fingerprint or a witness. Its been done several times by abductors in my life time. Why not know ?
As to the goldilocks theory, not even goldilocks was bleeding and papa bear would have taken his coat.
To: spectre
How people are unwilling to accept it is more logical to assume that Danielle could have been able to sneak into an unlocked motorhome, without any witnesses, and leave a couple of prints.Because she left more than "a couple of prints". She left blood and hair. A hair with a root was in the MH bathroom sink.
Also her hair in his house.
I take the fiber evidence seriously. The orange fibers are not a common type. She had one of those, plus the blue fibers. Some of the fibers (orange) were in his bed. All laundry had the orange and blue. Then the fibers in the MH and finally in the SUV. Her carpet fibers in the MH.
Recent haircut and no hair found of hers longer than before the haircut.
Finally DW's strange behavior and his collection of child porn.
Almost forgot the blood on the jacket.

It was part 2 to my #430
What followed was an example of an intro to the opening statement.

"The blood that the prosecutor will claim is the girls"
First he has to claim that it's blood, it was never tested for human BLOOD.
Oh, we know it's the girl's allright, whatever it is, it's such pure DNA that it matches Danielle's DNA so perfectly that it excludes the entire populations of 25 million earth-like planets.
To: gigi
That's it, gigi! You summed it up.
I find it intriguing and worthy of pondering, but I don't buy it (at least at this point).
To: demsux
I recently got a passport photo and it took about 10 minutes...why take her out early? Don't know why, really. She left her in a store by herself to go get the boys. My guess would be shopping for new clothes, but I really don't know.
Still never heard any proof she was ever at the store.
To: John Jamieson; All
who do you think will have the longest closing argument? Feldman or dusek?
Do you think dusek will divide his closing argument, 1/2 before feldman, 1/2 after feldman?
To: John Jamieson
The bug testimony is very puzzling, no matter who killed Danielle. If the bug experts are right, DW is off the hook. I have speculated on previous threads that bleach may have been poured on the body. This might have caused the mummification and kept bugs away for a while. Neither of the bug guys addressed this possibility.
If the bug guys are right, the body was covered up until around 2-16. After that there was a light rain on 2-17 and bug activity started. I think it's possible DVD dumped the body at Dehesa on Friday, 2-1 between 10:30 pm and 2:00 am wrapped in a blaket, rug, or plastic. He got discouraged that the body would never be found (this area had been searched already), so he returned to the scene and dragged the body to a more visible spot, removing the wrappings and discarding them elsewhere.
The least likely scenario IMO is that Danielle was alive until 2-16.
