What is your opinion about the "magically appearing" spent shell casing in Danielle's room.

I don't think it has much relevance unless someone is going to argue that whoever abducted Danielle murdered her using a gun and then came back to the house at a later time and accidently dropped the shell in her room. If so, that person certainly wasn't DW.

Sorry to keep posting to you, but the other thing that bugs me is the missing left foot...do we know if LE used cadaver dogs/scent dogs to try to find that missing left foot.

Seems to me if an animal pulled it off, it would have still been in the vicinity. Too many bones, wouldn't an animal have likely realized that right away, and then try a more appealing area?

In any case the most sensible scenario for whoever took the child is they would have been raped and killed within hours of abduction. The fact that the body just happens to be the distance that someone could drive from the Van Dams and return the general location by sunrise means to me that whoever took her wanted to be back in the area before sunrise and they worried about being missed if not. That also would rule in the Van Dams or their friends, btw. The physical evidence points to Westerfield, assuming the goldilocks theory is wrong. Westerefield also had Mr Toads wild ride avalaible to rid himself of clothing, blanket to move child, his underwear and other contaminated clothing and any other contacted stuff.

Just some of my thoughts.

I also can't believe that in the face of the Arrests of 2 men (SD and Poway) for running an INTERNATIONAL CHILD PORN RING, and arrests of 2 SD area Law enforcement officers in the FBI/CANDYMAN sting operation that you don't give those possibilities any validity of connection to Danielle's disappearance.

International porn exists. Is it your presumption that each time a child is abducted and murdered we must eliminate all subjects of the porn ring before targeting someone who has physical evidence that incriminates him ?

BTW, how do you know Westerfield isn't part of the aledged ring ?

I also wondered why no one asked the VDs about the pjs AND other clothing that was found on Danielle's floor that morning. It didn't sound as if those were the clothes that she wore to school the previous day but if not, where were THEY?

This would imply it easily could have been stuck in a shoe tread and come off. It probably got all scratched and tarnished while on the ground and then got stuck on someone's shoe.

RUMORS: Damon wasn't home with the kids babysitting like he was supposed to. Damon didn't come home when Brenda did with the pizza Friday night.

Damon was at a PAINTBALL ARCADE with a female friend and her little boy until 1am Saturday. (just before the pizza partiers got there).

NOW, let's think. A GUN ARCADE. Paintball guns usually used compressed air. Are there other types of GAMES there besides paintball, at an ARCADE? Do any of them use .22 casings?
