I like driving -- I usually hate riding with someone else at the wheel unless I trust the driver. But Gavin turns 18 in less than 2 weeks, so he needs to learn to drive -- especially since he bought a car.
I taught Grant early and let him get his license at 16 and regretted it many times (especially the times he wrecked my pick-up and his pick-up) - he's still a scary driver four years later. Gavin has a different temperament, but he didn't stay clean and sober as I said he must if he wanted to drive. Now he's doing better, and almost 18, so I will have to teach him.
