I'm really sorry to hear she is in Geneva.

The sister of a really good friend was one of the people killed in the embassy bombing in Kenya. Neither she nor her husband worked for the embassy they worked for the CDC. They had been in Africa for a couple of years and were doing important medical research. Each day she stopped by the embassy for a few minutes to collect their mail. That is what she had done on the day of the bombing.

She and her husband had recently adopted 3 siblings in Atlanta. They had been terribly abused for years and had just begun to feel safe and to trust people again. They were competely devastated. So, after her death her husband thought it best not to uproot the children further so they stayed in Kenya for about a year. He was offered and accepted a position to head a department at the WHO in Geneva. I can't tell you how much I hate the idea of Bill Clinton's daughter being under the same roof.

That is a sad story, but they should be safe in Geneva. At least crusty junior will only be around for a month (when she is not jet-setting around Europe).

My sister and her husband worked out of U.S. Emabassy's in Pakistan and India throughout the 90's... I'm glad they are in D.C. now, and working for "W"!

I know and they probably haven't given it a moment's thought. I just hate the idea of them having to be anywhere near a Clinton, no matter which Clinton.

We had some fun discussions over the 4th of July holiday. I am very proud of what she has accomlished, especially since she was a die hard liberal, Reagan hater when she graduated college!
