"Nully wants to be a submissive?" Oh, never mind!

The local police haven't said it in so many words just yet but they are cautiously hinting at the possibility that we may have a serial killer in town. They announced today that they had connected two murders several months apart to same DNA. They seem fairly sure they will be able to connect it to a third one as well. The victims have all been well educated women. All lived very near my neighborbood. Today the Chief of Police urged all women in town to exercise extra caution. How is that for spooky ?

It is really hot today - 104 right now, 13% humidity. A dry heat...
There is a Stage 1 power alert this afternoon, which means power reserves are low. If it advances to the need for rolling blackouts, Governor Grayout ain't gonna be lookin' so good.

I know, I just heard the latest on the local news. That is what everyone had come to think but it is still kinda unnerving when they all but say it out loud. LOL Thanks, I will take care but I'm very cautious already.

"Governor Grayout ain't gonna be lookin' so good." You mean he looks good otherwise? I DON'T THINK SO! Davis is an shameless moron.
To: .38sw
I heard this morning on the radio that a recent poll had Simon at 39% and Davis at 31%. I did't hear what company comducted the poll or any other particulars.

I didn't mean to imply that the Prince of Darkness was looking otherwise good. The state is in a deep deficit, there's a scandal a day surfacing, and he's behind in the polls.

That's right. The polling company was a political company not one of the media polls, so is considered reliable. Simon still has a lot of work to do by November. I've sent money, and I have a red "DUMP DAVIS" bumper sticker on my car. Nobody has given me the finger or tried to run me off the road, so I believe the sentiment is fairly widespread.

Davis is such an idiot that even the Rats probably can't ignore it any longer.
To: .38sw
Well, as long as the Dump Davis attitude holds up, Simon should be able to pull it off.

Isn't there a Green party candidate draining support from the Gray one as well?
To: .38sw
The funny part is that Davis didn't think that Simon would be any competition for him. Could there actually be a different mood coming over some of California?
To: sweetliberty
He is widely disliked, but I fear that on election day the Rats will be out in force, with the Unions bosses making sure the rank and file vote Dim. I'm not celebrating yet. Davis still has $50 million in his war chest, and a campaign manager know for his viciousness. It is possible that the vicious attack ads will backfire. I hope so. I know I sound negative, but I've seen Republicans in this state doing well in the polls until 2-3 days before the election, and the dems pull out all the stops, with negative ads, attacks and so on. And it's worked. That's why we have Barbara (dumber than a box of rocks) Boxer as senator.

There is a green candidate, some of the Republicans are sending him money and plaster his bumper stickers all over. And right now, I can't remember his name. Doh.

"with the Unions bosses making sure the rank and file vote Dim" I thought we still had secret ballots in the US. There has been a lot of grumbling from union members the past few years about how they have no say in how their dues are used to support political candidates.
