If it's raining there - maybe it will here. Local news will be back on in 20 minutes - their weather forecasts are much more reliable than the weather channel.
I'm so excited - hubby just pulled up - can't wait to find out what's (I don't have to cook) for dinner!!!

"I'm so excited - hubby just pulled up - can't wait to find out what's (I don't have to cook) for dinner!!!Wait a cotton-pickin' minute!
What's wrong with this picture?
She's home.
She's excited.
Husband is coming home.
And "she" is wondering what "he" has done/is doing for dinner?
Does she think that (perhaps) maybe the husband isn't thinking about dinner when an excited wife is at home? (I thinkin' he's thinkin' about cookin' with something hot ... and it ain't dinner.)

Sounds impossible to determine, IMHO, RAC.
I set up an experiment to illustrate just how one M-80 can cause others to detonate sympathetically if they are in close proximity. This was filmed for our local news outlet around the 4th of July several years ago. I used an extended safety fuze, I placed the fuzed M-80 in a bag containing 71 additional M-80's. The bag was placed in the back seat of a car I procurred from a salvage yard.
By the way, M-80's are not manufactured for legal sale in this country, but are sold by the gross, hence, half of a gross is 72 (perhaps the person who asserted that 72 M-80s were used in your example used the guesstimation method. :)
Every M-80 detonated simultaneously, taking the roof off the vehicle, bowing the doors out and the overpressure of the blast blew out every window in the vehicle. Interestingly enough, the windshield was blow out in one piece and when the tape was played back in slow motion, one could see the intact windshield return to the ground approximately 6 or 7 seconds after the initial blast. I don't know the height of the trajectory of the windshield, but I'll leave the physics to you. :)
I don't know the circumstances of your example, but there may have been reminants of the cardboard packaging used to contain the explosive filler, but if they detonated simultaneously, I would like to shake the hand of the person who conducted the post blast investigation and was able to make that assertion.

Miss Rika, if anyone screws with your coffee cup in this classroom, i will have to finger
