Hi, there! My bag is packed but the fire is going away from me now. 30% contained but wind has died. I'm with you - I wish some rain would come your way and ours, Palo.

I no sooner get logged on than someone calls and I must leave. Now I've turned my phone off so I'm on my own, finally! (I'm happy they call, though). I haven't read far enough to see if you went swimming today.

It's that time, when I say goodnight, but before I sing off, a sad thing happened to my favourite band today.Their bass player died in his sleep, probably a heart attack.I first saw them in 1976 and they were a thrill and they thrilled so many in NYC for a special show to honour those victims of 9/11.

RIP, John Entwistle and thanks for the memories and thanks to The Who :-)
