Church in Santa Rosalia
This church was designed by Gustave Eiffel, of the famed tower in Paris. It is made of sheet metal..Santa Rosalia was a French run mining town in Baja. The architecture of the town is French colonial built in wood, not adobe like a Mexican town of that time would be. It is still an unique town for this part of the world.......And that is more than you ever wanted to know, I'm sure...lol..

I wonder if other countries take more time with their beermaking processes. I used to like Tecate beer because it seemed to have more flavor or depth or something than our popular brands. It's special when someone brings it just for you! Your hubby has a good friend.
I'm no connoiseur, that's obvious. LOL.

Hi oki...The Mexican beer making industry is base on German methods and technique...My favorite Mex beer is Pacifico brewed in Mazatlan. Not a Baja beer at all...for shame..For a darker beer, Modelo Negro is my pick...but hey..'What do I know'

I am no expert on beer either, and I suppose the hubby is not one either...but he espcially enjoys trying all different beers...this San Miguel company does sell a Lager in the USA, but my husband does not care for it...
He likes the San Miguel Pilsner, and the San Miguel Red Horse, neither one of which is sold in USA...they both come in the larger bottles, 1000ml....we just finished off the Pilsner, and I suppose we will save the Red Horse for another day...
My husband loves all the micro-brews that have sprung up...often he goes down to the FishTale Pub, here in Olympia, and since they brew their own beer, we can take a 'growler' in and get it filled for just 6 bucks....
Its great a have a growler full of freshly brewed micro brewed beer sitting in the fridge...of course you must drink it all within 48 hours, so that its still fresh, and not stale and fresh...
We went down to the FishTale Pub last weekend for Fathers day, and of course we had our growler with us...we had dinner, and when ready to go, had our growler filled...well, the barkeep hollered, that they blew the keg on our growler, meaning it was the last beer to be gotten out of that keg...and it is always free to the one who gets it...so we got a nice cold free growler of beer...
Happy Fathers Day, is what I said to my hubby...and a grander treat, would be hard to find...
