The condition of the forests here in the East, is like a hot poker in their eye, because it is ALL privately owned and managed. Even private forest lands in California have problems because the state board of forestry has a lot of control over what is done on private lands. Even so, a side-by-side comparison of privately managed forest lands next to Forest Service lands is pretty revealing. The trees are thinned, the debris is cleaned up and the weeds are controlled. Wow. What a concept.

Did you see Vanilla Sky? I rented it last week, and didn't enjoy it. It was really something to see Tom Cruise near the end of the movie, yelling at the top of his lungs, "Tech support! Tech support!".

Nah, I didn't want to see Vanilla Sky. The silly scientologists in Hollyweird just don't entertain me. I have read many good reviews for the new movie he's in, directed by Spielberg, but something tells me I'm going to disagree if I ever get around to seeing it.

That is not the same thing as a firewall. (Black ice, zone alarm, etc etc)

I have Zone Alarm running with my Norton Antivirus. No problem.

I immediately called her story a lie. It was my first gut reaction to it. I didn't have proof. I was judgemental and condemning because I didn't believe her and she felt bad. Of course I said that only an idiot would believe that story, so a woman on another thread who hadn't thought to question the truthfulness was offended and said I had insulted her. She was right. I did. So what.

She ADMITTED that she started the fire. AFTER they found evidence discrediting her FIRST rendition of the story.

There is no way this side of Hell that a forestry worker would even flick their lighter while in that tinderbox. NO WAY!!!!!

Even ineptitude (hers, not mine.) wouldn't make me believe that she didn't intend to start that fire. She's only sorry that she was caught. Now, we will be watching for other Leftists to try the same thing.

It gets kind of hard to plant false lynx hairs start forest fires which clean the landscape of the human cancer, when people are aware that you might do that.
