There are likely different pieces of code that implement the two different functions!

If it is not to hard to program or it is worth the effort before the new topic list is available it would be usefull to have keywords search existing keywords and warn before allowing a unique new keyword. That might catch spelling errors and encourage the use of existing keywords that would be entered with no second step.

We can use both for a while but the bump lists have a limit of 250 posts, depending on you preference settings.

I can't more than 20 from the various ways I have tried the keyword search.

I have noticed that also and sometimes they don't include the most recent threads that used the keyword.

Thanks for the ping!

The keyword feature is very nice because of the lead-in words to the article, but we all used different versions of dump davis, davis, gray davis, simon, bill simon, etc. for the calgov2002 articles, so it's nice to be able to add a keyword.

I only see the recent articles with the keyword search. I'll update the calgov2002 history list tonight around midnight with the posts from the last three weeks, but that thread is not very useful in retrospect, since it only has the article titles.

Is there a way to search titles and keywords together?
(for example, to find articles with titles containing "oracle" and the keyword "calgov2002.")

Copied this from the major search screen:

match any word to search for any occurance of any word listed. Not all words need to be present to satisfy a match.
match all words to restrict searches to those containing at least one of each search word listed.
match exact phrase to further restrict searches to an exact phrase, an exact phrase search for "man bites dog" will not match "dog bites man".

Order results to find matches quickly.

order by relevance results are ordered by a relevancy score, strongest matches (determined by search word) will be returned first.
order by post time results are ordered by posting time, most recent posts first.

No keywords there!

The little search function at the top of the latest posts screen gives an either / Or choice. Either by title or By Keyword!

I don't think we can at this point.

But who knows what wonders John Robinson will deliver tomorrow!

I see what you mean, I thought that was a limit because of the limited use of keywords and that we would have the option to click more, like the topic lists. It doesn't appear we have that option yet.

When I click on a keyword to find related articles I seem to get the first 20 article to have used the keyword without the ability to find the most current articles.
