It is very easy to make superficial comments about those who admire President Bush. I happen to like him because I agree with him. Those who don't are free to do so.
Is he an attractive man? Sure...but so is my evil democrat Senator Evan Bayh, and I can't stand that guy.
You are resentful that I would bring up male envy, but it is the same thing as what you are accusing women of using in their decision making.
If you don't agree with the President, fine. Argue with me about the merits of his programs. But when you drag in the sexual thing, you are no better than those who say that someone is racist because they don't like Colin Powell.

Interesting, that some people don't realize common sense 'rules of engagement'? You will notice that this is especially true of SOME of the women posters on FR. They will hit you with every slam they can think of,and when you respond in kind,they hit the abuse button and play "But...but...but,I'm just a gurl!". They think we are supposed to let them get away with stuff because they are female,or pretty. They need to learn that it is your ideas and your words that control how MOST people respond to you here,not how you look or your gender.

I see your point. I guess I was thinking more in terms of some of the ones that are so bizarre that they're entertaining reading great for a good laugh. There have been some really funny things going that have gotten pulled becuause they're so inane I'm guessing, but still made for hilarious reading material. You gotta admit that FReepers tend to be very witty, although some have a really twisted sense of humor.
Oh well, just a thought. Thanks for the response. I agree that the really ugly stuff probably shouldn't be reposted. I think we just get curious about the vanishing posts.

Sad to say, I am married, and have been for many years. I chose my name in honor of the detective in Agatha Christie's novels, and never gave a thought to the fact that some might think me single.
