Just guessing, but.... Your post made an effort to try and lighten his anxiety and since it didn't fit his purpose he wanted them gone from view ? LOL

His post seemed intentionally hysterical. If not, why not finish the story ? Are we to believe he was upset about it but not upset enough to stay at the airport ? The airport where family members of passengers were apt to get the first and most accurate information on the flight's status ? Yeah, right. As for the flight being diverted to a city where SWA doesn't offer service ... ? Oh, the drama of it all ! The pilot landed his plane at the first airport able to safely handle a passenger aircraft that size.

C'mon Swerve, the Bible is either the word of God or it's not. I say it is and I believe that the word of God is powerful enough to transcend flaws in translation and language. I don't think there was a polite way to call the Pharisees "whited sepulchres" or an "evil brood of vipers."

I would highly recommend to you that you read one or 2 of the early works of Josh McDowell, once a devout skeptic who set out to disprove the Bible. I think he would appeal to your "intellectual" non sensibilities .

The Bible is so full of contradictions that it is either a work of man or the word of an insane God. It has been passed down by word of mouth, transcribed, edited, translated, tidy'd up and reinterpreted until it is only by rigourous analysis that we can find those things in it that are probably true. Most of it is nonsense.

I just checked both of Seattle newspapers online and there's not one word of any Sea-Tac bound flight problems. I didn't see anything in the Chicago Sun-Times either.
