On another note, I once owned a quarter horse from the Doc Bar (I think) line. It's been years since i owned him, and my memory is hazy. His registered name was Bar U2 Crow, and he was a terrific animal, beautiful, gentle, and had a nice gait.

Doc Bar was a great sire of working cow horses and his offspring were well known for having gentle dispositions. I've never known of one that couldn't flat eat a cow. They tend to be a little small for outside work.

Quarter horses in general, as a breed, have great dispositions. Ours have always been good workers and good pets too.
